@ghrjr1 No, and that's sad that their talent wasn't recognized earlier. But then again, there were a lot of good groups and solo artists during those days. It's okay though, Temptation fans still love all of David and Eddie's songs just as much, if not more, than when Dennis was on lead.

Man, David was always my favorite Temptation, hands down. He always was. The only drawback to him as a Temp was that he aged very badly. The crazy thing was that though he aged badly, his voice was solid at 50 as it was at 24. I am a singer myself and always hope every time I sing somewhere that I can still sing at 60 like I can now at 26. God bless David Ruffin. He led a very rough life, but he was pure talent.

Has anyone ever seen the Temps singing at David's wake or funeral? I saw it once on a latenight channel shortly after his death. The raw emotion was too much but... I'd love to see it again. They could barely go on with the song.........

@ww20nysms I wiish I could've seen that. Although the rest of them had their issues with David, I know that deep down, they were all still brothers, and always considered David still part of the family.
