A friend who knows a lot of stuff about Alanis told me apparently she said it's a conversation between her and her father. I'm not sure about it, but it seems to make sense.
I certainly relate to this song by Alanis....my father was very much the same as she is speaking here.....I have too much in common with alanis...I like that though, we are the same age!
