what a road, ive always wanted to go there, i love the road and the roadside attractions and towns, never been able to afford the trip to US to do the trip but i have explored alot of it on google maps:) If i was given the choice of a trip to anywhere in the world i wouldnt think twice about, route 66.
some major highways here in Australia are being replaced by freeways bypassing the towns, good for people travelling on business but doesnt make much of a fun memorable trip for the family.

nice shots, love the one of Roys with the old bus, it disappeared when the town got sold.
