What was the cause of this fire? How many fire departmetns were needed to put this fire out? How long ago did this happen? It's 08/11. Thanks for the footage.
How do you even begin to fight a fire like this? I am not a firefighter but this has got to make one scratch his head and wonder where to start. Anyway, it's always sad when neat old buildings get destroyed because of all the history behind them that is now forever lost.
my mom was one of the last workers to work at this mill back in the 80s i remember going to see her there on her lunch break it was therd floor on the right . may my mom rest in peace she died in 95 at only 51 the history of this mill is very interesting I read up on it at maine history .now lewiston will make room for a casino soon and more hotels space
