  • Funny xD

  • Powered by finely trained Slowpokes!

Though, the robot is awesome, I couldn't imagine it is possible to build such a flexible construction with a NXT. How many motors does it use?

  • @Yurrist, As per the "Discription" it is 10 DoF(10 lego servos) though the latest version is 11 dof now, to be filmed sooner or later as time yields.

  • While watching this, I couldn't resist humming to myself the 2001 Space Odyssey song ((dun... dun... duuuun... DUNDUN!!)) lol, great stuff :D

  • That's an incredible milestone, keep up with the good work. Bravo.

  • this is an awesome robot.

but, no offense, remember who you are showing this too: the internet. try putting the videos in x2 speed or something, or have a x2 video and a normal video.

    keep up the great work!

    :D

  • @catattack998 Not a bad idea, there is a reason to have the "real time" raw footage. But, I will from now on put a 8-16x speed footage first then the real time after, if the total footage is more than 1 minute. The bot looks very cool at 16x but not real too, at that speed a bot would move in another way since it would be a dynamic gate. X-2 is a static in its gate. But its only Lego too so its not going to run around like Asimo as well.

  • @catattack998 go to google labs. Looking through the pages, you can find an option to set youtube to HTML-5 videos, instead of flash. Once you did that, you can select the speed you want to watch the vids at (up to twice as fast).

    The robot is awesome, anyways!
