I think there is supposed to be a bit of a play on the German language when it comes to the 'Du Hast Mich' and the 'Du Haßt Mich' - I think it's intentional that you get both meanings from the chorus. Although it's named "Du hast", it's not an accident that you hear the double s later in the song.
