Will you be doing reviews of the griffin survivor cases for iPhone 4 and iPad 2? The survivor case for the iPad 2 is like the defender for the iPhone 4. It's what the defender case for the iPad 2 should have been like with an inbuilt screen protector.

I've only seen USB 3 used in external hard drives, but the speed isn't that much better than FireWire 800 from my experience. It's faster, but it's about as fast as eSATA, which is about 20% faster than FireWire 800. Quite a rubbish speed increase considering it's supposed to be 5Gb/s.

I got a little question, i got a core 2 dual imac and macbook pro, (late 2009 and mid 2010).

But i was just wondering how old and bad is intel core 2 dual ? and how long can i last with it before it really needs an upgrade

@MrFeulip There's nothing wrong with Core 2 Duo. They're still good CPU's, just no longer the power houses they once were. You'll be fine for a while yet, don't bother upgrading unless you start noticing pretty poor performance with the software you use, and even then, you'd be better off getting an SSD to give your system a boost. Unless you plan on doing heavy video work and stuff they'll be good for another couple of years methinks.

As apple product user, I think that if we STOP speculating and getting drunk in bars and pubs hopping to find a lost next gen iPhone, our chances at spending hard earned cash on the next "revolutionery" iPhone won't decrease. And in the meantime while some are living the dream lives of hippies in front of an Apple stores you can try and get yo D!KK sucked instead and while on the subject owning an iPhone won't won't help in the cause. Sorry to brake it to you, but i'm just sayin'.

@theunits3 Yes, I know thats why I'm subscribed :). I was just generally speaking because sometimes it get too annoying when I visit tech blogs, which i do every day just to see that the majority of posts are about Apple. And also i wanted to make clear to some that having an iPhone does't makes you cool - contrary to common believe that people have (I should know since I own both iPhone 4 and a MBP which which do not make me cooler). Nothing personal though, keep up the amazing job!

@XStorminTech yeah I guess it would suck if they release iOS 5 and then no one buys the iPhone 5 when it launches lol. Its best from a business POV to release the hardware, then a week or two down the line... release the iOS software

Whats the point in apple putting thunderbolt in all their devices if theres no use for them since no other company has started using it yet? I could be wrong tho cuz i dont own a mac but are there even any thunderbolt cables out yet? why didnt they just wait until the next refresh to integrate it when its more popular and cheaper?

@indyracer05 Apple make cables. And you need something that uses it before companies make products for it, so you'd never bother doing anything if you just waited for companies to support it because they'd be waiting for other companies to support it too. TB isn't really like other connections, it's an external connection for PCI-E, which lets you use it for pretty much everything PCI-E is used for internally, like audio cards, GPU's, RAID cards and so on. There's not much for USB 3 either.

I hope Apple will release an updated version of FCPX. The release of the previous version through FCStudio is a good move. One can hope...

@Trusteft Apparently they're only selling old stock of Final Cut Studio. Once it runs out, that's it. I'm pretty sure they're working on a FCPX update, they'll just be making sure they do it right rather than rushing it to market. Remember, they're effectively at stage one again, it's a complete rewrite, so things take time. Plugin makers need to rewrite their stuff too, so in theory we'll get to a stage where things all seem to happen at once, then forget how much it "missed" on release lol.

How do you transfer your videos from your Camra to iMovie? HELP PLEASE!

@planerhys121 theres an application on the Mac (already preinstalled on all systems called 'Image Capture'). Search for it in spotlight. Its simple - connect your iphone up, open that app up and you can take videos/images from your iphone and copy them onto your Mac for editing etc. Happy days!

Also I read earlier on two sites that the iPhone 5 may have a dual core 1.2ghz processor, which would be faster than the 1ghz one in the ipad 2, has this rumor been around for long? I've heard for months it'll be the ipad 2 dual core 1ghz one. It'd be nice if it was 1.2 though wouldn't it :p.
