I strapped it to my bear head on this one, actually. The camera comes with several types of straps of varying lengths that can fit around things as large as helmets, and as small as the forks on bikes and motorcycles.

Whether or not it's a good idea depends on what you're looking to get out of the camera. I wanted something that was small, light, waterproof, and rugged that I wouldn't get too upset over if I broke it while taking some cool footage. This fit the bill - albeit with some compromise in video quality compared to those that cost 3-5x as much. You get what you pay for, and I like what I've gotten from this camera.
