People don't understand that these videos are so old that there were no configs, tutorials about demo smoothing or movie making in general, etc. So obviously they are going to look like crap compared to the stuff today. Plus it's all my footage so it's not super amazing unlike half the videos now who have open demo calls from around the world with half the shots set up or foreign cheaters.

Nope, I'm just bad I guess. I don't think I hit them in the legs though really, usually it's right in the middle of the chest. It's a bit of a twitch upwards into their chest.

I use cl_crosshairscale 2200 at 1650 x 1080 resolution. Not sure how it'd look on different resolutions, but in general I like it small but not so tiny that you can barely see it. You should be able to see someone's full head inside the crosshair at medium/close distance.
