Yeah, let's spend no more than necessary and then get out of the way of people who work hard and live right. It's a good idea, one to which I adhere - too bad the Repubs have gotten just as bad as the Dems at IGNORING it! It's time for a third party, people!!!

McCain is not a true republican. He's just another democrat in the corrupted republican party. No one likes war but some people are either cowards or prefer terrorists to be back in our own back yard.

agreed. taft and goldwater would be sickened at what the party has come to. the unconstitutional, pro-war campaign of bush/cheney has not attracted the youth to the party. mccain continuing to make those mistakes will not help either.

This is such nonsense. Both Dems and Republican parties are no better than cockroaches. Corrupt as hell. The elite created both parties to play one side against the other and thereby own the game. I will be proud of my country when the criminals responsible for 911 are put to death. I think every thinking person knows where they can be found. And its not in the middle east.

What are the Republicrats doing about inflation,coercive government,restoring the Constitution,American sovereignty? Comparing Reagan with Roosevelt: Roosevelt,the guy who brought collectivist coercive government to a new high in this country. What about comparing Taft to any of the candidates? Interesting then,McCain is for big government, higher taxes, greater inflation, protracted war, more government intrusion into your life. Obama or McCain,neither one is good for this country.

Actually, I was referring to Robert Taft, not his father, President William Howard Taft. Robert Taft was one of the few in Congress who kept FDR from instituting a complete collectivist totalitarian dictatorship in the US.
