bangkok is just a big city - there's a few tourist attractions, so maybe a 2 or 3 days would be ok.

Pattaya is just sex crazy - a bit too intense if you ask me.

Phuket is a good mixture nice beaches, recreational activities, tourist attractions and great night life (as shown in this video) You can also tour around south to all the other beautiful islands if you go to Phuket.

it's a town that's built on the sex industry... i think it all stemmed from the war etc. I've only been there once, so i can't say a whole lot about it.

there is touristy things to do there too, but if you go out at night the whole place is just full of Thai women everywhere you look, it's a bit over the top in my opinion...

Phuket is a good mix of nightlife, nice beaches and touristy things to do... fun!
