The cell shading I try is not working for me. Even with the tutorial, it doesn't do much help. I followed the same instructions on the tutorial 15 times and tried it, but no. Does not make any difference. Well it does but it looks terrible. Tell me you didn't use the same instructions from the stupid tutorial and if you didn't use them please tell me the texture :( I already know how to do the outline. Does it have to be a different version of anm8or? Anyway, I like this video and I love Duffy.

You place your object over the skeleton, then you choose Multi-Bone-Skin ("S"), and then you can click on the bones that influence the figure. When you double-click on the bones, you can choose the size of the area of a bone that influences the object.

Search for "Anim8or bone tutorial", you will need knowledge about skinning if you have one object with many bones.

Geez, I don't know any good, free and easy 3D-programs for Mac, I use Anim8or, but tht only works with Vista.

Chetah 3D, it isent free (legally, anyway), but its easy to use i hear. or blender, its free, and super complex. Theres a lot out there.

You take the same model but a little bigger, make it around the other one and make the foreground transparent and the background black.

Of course not ;)

I didn't use any lights, the shadows are just transmaps.

When you use lights, you can also make the shadow smooth, but then it takes ages to render a full video :P

But with lights in the scene, white looks grey :(

First I made the object completely white (then you only see the outer line) and then I made the scene again with the colored object. And the filling is just an effect in the video-cutter, when you cut the 2 scenes together.
