I just installed my Fatal1ty yesterday. Really good motherboard. I have my AMD X6 1055 overclocked @4.2 Ghz and no problem under full load!!!!! This didnt worked before with my old motherboard and I always thought why blue screen and unstable after 3.5 Ghz overclocking... so I think the reason was that Asus crosshair 3 ROG. I am very happy with new board Asrock 990FX PRO FATAL1TY.

@vanhodid z68 enables the use of the integrated graphics on the CPUs. It also enables the use for the CPU's integrated graphics for faster video encoding etc.

Also, Z68 has been proven to be a little stabler, with less problems with SATA ports, as with P67 in the past.

I threw in both DVDs, measured the complete sizes of all the files in KB and divided it by 3250 KB (according to Wikipedia, the size of the latest floppies).

This board cannot detect BIOS file in a fat or fat32 USB key. It will just say 'searching' in the F6 Instant Flash. Then end up "No image file detected'. Also, it cannot do PXE installation in windows deployment server 2008 R2. What a shit!!!

@CaptainTurkeyGiblets because i have both and I have tested the intel vs my AMD.. What i am saying is that the AsRock with my Phenom II X4 965 overclocked.. Outperformed my intel i5 on its Crosshair IV.. My gtx 580 was giving better frames with the phenom on the AsRock then my intel i5 on its Crosshair.. Not sure why but it did.. better fps on crysis and metro 2033 anywhere from 5 to 10

I`m currently looking at the ASrock boards as i have returned my 1st gen asus p8p67 deluxe due to the sata bug and am looking for a replacement.The Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3 seems to have the right specs for what i want.More so than something like the Asus maximus iv extreme-z, AND its 30% cheaper! Pretty amazing boards for the money from what ive seen so far.

@JtGorospe90 btw, you may think in games like crysis the cpu makes little difference but i can assure you it does.I had a Q9650 clocked to a touch over 4ghz along with my gtx580 and when i transferred the 580 into my newer 2600k setup there was quite an improvement in even supposedly gpu intensive games like crysis.It was far smoother than it had been before in my old setup.

@JtGorospe90 On the platform.. AsRock 990fx Fatal1ty with a gtx 580 and a phenom ii x4 965 oc (4.2) out performed my other AMD setup on a crosshair IV AMD setup (exact same) by just a bit. It also out performed my Maximus i5 for some reason (maybe because its not overclocked yet). But when I put the intel in the AsRock z-68 it out performed the AMD version of the AsRock.. I hope this clarifies some stuff i said back then
