What frame rate did you use? if you used 12 fps change them to 24. or play around till the motions look fluid,

or if you trying to give it a slow motion kind of feel you need to add more inbetweens.

What a wonderful animation for a wonderful game. The cinematic were a bit over-exemplified from the original's which (in my opinion) gives a more exciting video. I'm planning on applying to SVA for the 2009-2010 year in animation or illustration, and it's always wonderful to see students producing masterpieces. This is truly an inspirational piece of animation.

I can't really think of one single time it would have been appropriate for him to smile, so I didn't include a scene which would not have fit his character. Also, the wanderer is not the main character of ICO. SotC is considered a prequel to ICO, not a sequel, and I believe the creators stated that the horned baby at the end of the game is "the first child born with horns." If I remember right, in ICO's time, there had been many other horned children.

in the time i had to do this film, we were expected to have 45 seconds of black and white pencil test as a finished result. so yeah i'd say it was a combination of time limitations and it being the first thing i ever seriously animated, i guess??

They say Wanderer because they think Wander's name is singular so they make it plural with "er"

Just because the japanese can't speak english doesn't mean you can't. Native Japanese speakers have a difficult time pronouncing consonants at the ends of words and thus say (and spell) the word as "wanda". This is correct according to japanese language rules. A double "er" is pretty much impossible for them to pronounce. It is not a name, he is a nameless wanderer and the proper translation would be "wanderer".
