@Revenantch clint eastwood "blondie" says that hes got 6 bullets for lee van cleff and his gang 6 man the perfect number there is 5 dislikes up there one more and there is a perfect number
This reminds me of Sergio Kaffuffel's 1969 opus ' Santiago, We're Coming For You, You Bastard!' A very rare spaghetti western (part of the Bastard trilogy) starring Terence Puccinni as the eponymous anti hero, Santiago. It was part of a trilogy that also included, 'Santiago, You Bastard! Where's The Gold?' (1968) / ' Santiago, This Bullet's For You, You Bastard'. (1970).
I just got The good The bad and The ugly on DVD, and still didn't watch, i'm damm sure that i will love the movie. And just by seeing the intro... my heart was filled with passion, i fell in love with this intro!
The Sergio Leone Westerns were mainly shot in southern Spain, a few miles to the North of Almeria near the town of Tabernas. I have been there and many of the buildings and town can still be found there - from all the "Dollar Triology" and i.e. the "McBain Farm" from "Once upon a time in the West"!
I love all the so called "Spaghetti Westerns" because they were so refreshing and avoided all the stereotypical American cowboy operas of the time....
@yukibanes I think the song representing the life situation in those days, Indians, western, latinos and off course Hollywood choir style....i love this song......
Absolutely fantastic film! Im 28 now and remember when i was a kid and my dad had these on in the evening and i'd sneak out of bed, downstairs and hide behind the sofa watching it!
The Good the Bad & the Ugly, a corporation all working hand in hand, one posing as the good guy The Catholics, and the Muslims, and Judaism. Or can be simplyfied as the IMF & the FED, and the CIA & all other branches of the same crooked system, designed to fool the world. In a Global take over the "666" Goldfinger and his crew.
a lot of people have taken something with them from these westerns - King too - I dont know about the younger generations - what those movies gave them or if they even caught them with all the other stuff thrown at them but for the generations born before 1985 or 1990? this is western like it should be.
Clint is nearly injured during the blowing up of the bridge scene. Look at the scene carefully and you'll see a large piece of rock slamming into and tearing the sandbag about 2 feet from his head.
But awesome song, one of the best movie soundtracks ever made. Ennio Morricone is a musical genius, he should be taught at schools, his work is THAT GOOD.
WHY did they cut Eli and Lee's credits in the american intro? Nobody ever explained that, what did the US think only clint was important enough to be given a main credit!? It wasn't just "The Good"!
"Wallach"... what a name, lol. Anyone familiar with horses have bad associations to that word - castration, that is. And yes I know it's originally a place name, but it's still funny.
was made like for a few hundred people to watch, ended up, like the film of a century.. greed, great emotions, music & cinematic devices.. How can I tell it, this was just too damn good to go unnoticed.. greatest film ever.. If u like the sun lol

Why is the Man With No Name Trilogy rated R? At MOST they should be rated PG-13, exept For a Few Dollars More.

@superturkeylegs The PG-13 rating didn't exist until the 1980s.
