  • does anyone ever watch fox news and get bored after 5 mins?

  • 1)A womans right to choose = murder a child. Her choice was made during sex.

    2) We have soooo many enviromental regs already-they could be improved and streamlined.

3)Global warming is a farce and has been denied by hundreds of the top scientists in the world.

4)The top 5% in America pay about 80% of the toatl tax bill! The bottom 30% pay 0!!Why should they pay more?(you must -hate what made America stronghard work, personal strength, capitalism, faith)

5)Why should others pay for our wants?

  • @kwil46 Great point on the global warming AS A RESULT OF CO2 hoax ! I knew it was a hoax, just from studying history ----- Greenland in the time of Leif Ericson, for example.

Don't forget the Federal Reserve. Really, the income tax is made necessary by the Federal Reserve. ( and also all these wars, designed to bankrupt America )

Republicans are also sick of the neocons, who have polluted the Republican Party.

  • Where were all of these Conservative Debt protestors when their main man GEORGE W was in the House? He ballooned the deficit when the economy was doing well. Of course there is going to be a deficit when the economy tanks. What fools.

  • To capturetheory:

No it is possible to be both conservative and liberal. Like me, I'm Conservative when it comes to our government (which means I support a smaller government). However I'm socially Liberal (which just means I support gay marriage, abortion to a certain extent, ext.).

Also Conservatives support taxes, they just don't support wasteful spending. A lot of the spending our government does is just wasteful, and doesn't help us.

  • Fox did not tell ppl to protest when Bush was bailing out BANKS or no-bid contracts. Federal Reserve (not answerable to Obama or Congress) upped bailout to $12.8 Trillion.

Protests aimed against your neighbor's imaginary bailout. The workout for mortgages is $0.25 Trillion, so the Banks are getting 48x more, NO STRINGS. Capiche?

"Socialism" means "egalitarianism" -- Liberty and justice for ALL. How is giving money to a few hundred Billionaires and Hecto-Millionaires egalitarian/socialist?

  • Fox didn't tell anyone to protest PERIOD. And if McCain had won, we'd still have tea parties, this is not about the administration.

  • Bullshit, we've had FOX promoting this thing for weeks. Neo-con pundits have been jumping on it left and right trying to high jack it for personal gain.

  • Fox had been COVERING it (not promoting it) unlike other news orgs, prior to the 15th.

And you just said it yourself - and I agree, pundits were *trying* to high jack it for personal gain (much like pundits and politicians have used anti-war protests for personal gain over the past few years), but I fail all around to see how any pundit or politician gained anything from the tea parties. Had they done so, I'm SURE the media would be covering THAT.

  • @Exitus767 We need to kick out the neo-cons ! And Fox sells this idea, in part, with its female anchors, who are such babes. Ron Paul was the true voice of the TEA party movement ----- a radical indictment of Washington. Sarah Palin has no business in this movement, and would never get elected even if the GOP nominates her. Much better would be Huckabee, because he is NOT a neo-con, and DOES have a radical tax idea.

  • Can't you people see? These puppets just want to keep us divided in this critical time. Bush kept us divided! Obama will keep us divided! Anyone from either parties extreme will keep us divided! It's their job! This is not a game! Stop treating our country like a baseball game. Stop being fans of this team or that team, this side or that side, and start realizing where the head of the beast is. I call it the "Yankee vs. Red Sox agenda". Forget the teams and sides. We need to focus on unity.

  • I'm not big on the unity thing, just don't think people are capable, but I completely agree that people are fools to keep bickering over conservative this liberal that- what a joke. They'll never wake up, though, never do.

  • The only way we're going to have unity is if we can have a dialogue.

When Bush was in office, supporting him was social suicide. You couldn't have a rational conversation.

Now that you see people going to tea parties, people think they're extremists/morons, again thwarting a discussion.

I see from both sides. If people weren't SCARED to empathize with the other side, we could unite and see that we share common goals, we just have different plans of action.

  • What's happening here is right wingers taking heavy protests of the majority of the country felt for the bush administration and just getting there revenge. Our tax dollars have been misused and over spent since the beginning of the federal reserve early 20th century. This is not a republican vs. democrat ordeal! They are just the knights and rooks as we are their pawns! It's the king we must go after! It's the world bank, the fed, the owners of monster corporations that fuel the agenda's!

  • My goodness, I've never seen so many rednecks in one place in my life, other than a good ol' fashioned lynching! You'd swear our country was 99% cornbread! An obvious staged event by the corporate monster Fox network of the parent company News Corp. But on the same note, there were extreme liberalists barking up the wrong tree as well. There were protests all over the country last year on tax day denouncing the use of our federal income tax and opposing the fed reserve. WHERE WAS THAT COVERAGE?

  • So much for Fox and Cavuto fueling this movement. Why didn't he ask one of the tea parties in cities where we had thousands in attendance, like Houston, San Antonio and Austin.

  • These teabagging events were pure corporate propoganda that were harldy "spontaneous" and did not start at the "grass roots level." These teabaggers were herded like sheep primarily by Fox News (whose parent company, NewsCorp, doesn't pay corporate taxes in this country, by the way) and special interest lobbying groups such as the ones headed by Newt Gingrich and DICK ARMEY (love the poetic irony). The outrage is manufactured and transparent. Wake up, people. This is hackery, plain and simple.

  • I can't help thinking this is a a republican vs democrat thing, than it is an actual, "I care about spending," thing. I don't think these people cared when it was Bush who was doing the spending, but now that a democrat is doing it, all of a sudden they care. No offense, I don't know these people personally, I don't know their intentions. I oppose wasteful spending too. But the fact that tea party protests are occurring now, instead of 4 years ago, I think, lessens their credibility.

  • YEA....TMundo....There were protests about big spending during the Bush administaration..it was called all the people protesting the War on Terror...them saying it was a waste of our billions..Does anyone else remember that??? or just me?

  • Yes! Exactly!

  • The tea parties are not about one party or the other...the thing is is that we felt like we were getting people in office--state, local, and federal--who were going to listen to us...HA! Here in California the politicians and the judges ignore the people...Schwarzenegger is a fraud...Obama is spending more than ever...and the people's votes are being overturned by many courts in many states. Enough said--all branches are corrupt!

  • It's never too late...just because we are stuck with Obama for four years doesn't mean we have to sit quietly for four years. There are also special elections occuring and other things over this time period. WE HAVE MORE POWER THAN PEOPLE THINK. ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS PUT IT INTO EFFECT AND TELL THE GOVERNMENT THEY CAN'T HAVE OUR MONEY, OUR SUPPORT, OR OUR LIVES.

  • One more thing; the Boston Tea Party was a protest for taxation with NO representation. You know, kind of like how citizens in DC have no representatives in congress.

  • Howcome "TEA" didn't come out when Bush was doing the same thing? Obama is just doing a better job at it. The Dow is back up to 8,000. Wake up republicans.

  • Say YES to a march on Washington, DC

Millions of us should show up, right in front of the Capital Bldg, Washingotn Mall, and in front of the White House!

  • ... Just say NO to Obama, Reid, and above them all, Nancy Pelosi (may she fry in hell!)

  • 1st Bush, now they r try'n 2 teabag us...wuts next from the party of NO? no sex no music no children unless through inbred means? THANK GOD FOR OBAMA !!!

  • What's next? NOBAMA!!!

  • Getting to gether is always good. Better than just sitting by the computer. When I mention taxes or economic problems to people in my neighbourhood.. they all agree its bad and something needs to be done. So getting to gether and planning lokally for future is wery good idea all over the world.

God bless Ron Paul and sound money.

  • The rich are the only people (and Fox news) that benefit from these tea parties... They are the most unfair news organization on TV today....

  • I urge all of my fellow Americans to stand together with us on this issue...and you don't have to do it in Washington DC to have an impact. Make signs and place them on your vehicles, in your yards...make flyers and put them on windows, in mailboxes. LET THE ENTIRE WORLD KNOW THAT REPUBLICAN PRESENDENTIAL BUDGETS HAVE CAUSED $9T OF THE CURRENT $11.3T IN DEBT.

  • Finally! Where were these people when we were holding tea parties 1 & 2 years ago. Ron Paul was right!

  • That is why Americans hates a tea, its much healthier than coffee. Because at the Starbucks everybody drink coffee from the same thermos for everybody and we pay different price for it. Are we stupid?

O yes I forgot Obama For First 61 days spent 10 Trillion dollars, And to return the money People, please, open up your wallets wide because your Taxes is doing to be SKY HIGH.

  • The TEA PARTIES are growing by leaps and bounds.... just wait and see. There will also be a march on DC.

  • Its a ground swell, already, keep fucking up and the revolution will be televised.

  • This is how it starts. How many of you write your political appointees. I do several times a week to let them know this change is not change but just the same ole BS. Obama in 61 days has done what Bush did in 8 years!!! Unbelieveable!!!!!

  • "Obama in 61 days has done what Bush did in 8 years!!!"

You mean he got thousands of our troops killed in a pointless war.

  • Obama's putting more troops into a "useless" war!

  • Well. Obama did not lie. He said we were getting out of Iraq. He just "forgot" to mention we were sending even more to afghanistan.

  • Putting troops in Afghanistan was a campaign promise by Obama.

  • @livelovebe1970 That was an appeasement to the Jewish Zionists. Afghanistan is an indirect strike against Russia, which has emerged as an extreme enemy of Israel. Putin made it clear that Iran is to have a nuclear capability, and has shipped high tech weapons to Iran.

  • @mborr12 If Obama REALLY were totally against the wars, he would have so much respect, there wouldn't be TEA parties.

The imagery of the Boston Tea Party is that the "democracy" in America has completely failed Americans ----- Washington does not represent the interests of the American people, but that of Israel.

Afghanistan is a pretext for attacking Iran, OR Pakistan, an Islamic country with the nuclear bomb, and thus a threat to Israel.

  • Just Ignore them and they will go away...

  • Have you even BEEN to one? You sound like you dont care anymore, is this what AMERICA has become? STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT! Stop sitting there saying it wont work, it WILL work if we ALL stood up against whats happening.

  • I went a couple of Fridays ago to a viewing of that Glenn Beck program. Needless to say I was not impressed. I just find it to be a waste of time. Some peaceful protests by a couple thousand people doesn't make a difference to the govt... Some angry soccer moms sending tea bags is not the way to bring about real change.

Read what Mao Zedong had to say about change. Look at what they did during the civil rights movement to make the Govt. change. No tea bags or soccer moms involved.

  • Since you know what will work best, go ahead and get it organized and lets see how it does.

For now Tea Parties will do, pending evolution of the current movement or implementation of your solution.

Regardless of the method initially, the end result may be the same.

  • Believe me, I would love nothing more then to do that.

The problem we have is that this country is filled with spineless, comfortable, cowards that don't care. People care, and know, more about NFL football and American Idol then they do about their own Govt. and what it's up to.

From K - college our children our indoctrinated by our communist/socialist school systems to be good little PC soldiers. It's hard to break that cycle. I for one don't see it happening anytime soon.

  • Cavuto is playing 'Devil's Advocate'. He totally agrees with the 'tea parties.'

  • at least this is making the state run news

  • I like LITTLE GOVERNMENT... Congress needs to remove their sticky fingers from our wallets!!!

  • Liberty or die peeps....

  • Cavuto needs to quit trying to stop the growth of a positive movement with his jabbing comments...

    FREEDOM!!!

  • Cavuto is nothing more than a member of the Government-Media complex
