it's a good thing that he does because he's very articulate and mature. David A. sings beautifully, but is horrible in interviews. he's a shy kid that doesn't show much confidence in many ways. he needs to mature and learn how to talk in interviews.

agreed.some people are just socially awkward.He seems like a very happy person and enjoys people, but just shy.Unfortunately, because of this, he's going to be attacked as he gets more exposed.He'll get attacked about his sexuality because he probably hasn't yet felt as comfortable around girls or he may be gay, and isn't yet comfortable in his skin about that either. who knows. but if he is straight, he'll still be attacked if he isn't dating one of the girls desperately wanting a piece of him.

he's been on stage since he was really little.he should be used to it by now, but he's not.Britney Spears, Justing T.,Christina A. and a gazillon more teens were huge as kids, but all interviewed very well for their age mature or not.They had "it".David doesn't have "it." He's got a great voice, but will never be HUGE. Maybe "clearly" is saying too much, but in my opinion (and frankly, the opinion of many) the kid is gay. Notice how he avoids answering questions about girls. However, he IS extremely talented, and when he comes out, hopefully in the near future, he will be a great representative for the gay youth of America. Besides, no straight guy belts out Mariah, Whitney, and Christina like this kid does. We are kidding ourselves if we insist on thinking he's a ladies man. He's as straight as Clay Aiken.

For some odd reason, Archuleta and Cook remind me of each other physically. Not so much in this interview, but in other interviews and pictures, they kinda look alike. haha I didn't have a lot of time on my hands, but does Archuleta usually talk like that?
