Carowinds is located in Fort Mill South Carolina and Charolatte North Carolina, i would know i live less that 2 min away in Fort Mill i live so close that when i sit on my frunt porch i can hear Top Gun
Carowinds is okay. This vid makes it look good. If you want a theme park vacation my pics would be : Disney World, Universal Studios, Bush Gardens, Dollywood or Kings Island.
Busch Gardens and Dollywood suck those parks would entertain you for like a second you were so gay to even put Busch Gardens and Dollywood and definitely Disney World those 3 parks suck. The only thing that matches with Carowinds is Kings Dominion those 2 are side by side and the only park better than Carowinds is Cedar Point. Dollywood, Disney and Busch Gardens are all kiddie parks that are just meant for the family and have NOOOOO Thrills.
When I went to Dollywood, Disney and Busch Gardens I was so bored I only stayed in the park for 3 hours those 3 parks are gay and kiddie parks. Carowinds, Cedar Point and Kings Dominion are way better than those 3 parks.

top gun and borg were all names of paramount movies.. it was paramount carowinds and it was just recently bought out by Cedar Fair so they didnt have rights to have paramount names anymore.. Cedar Fair changed Alot of stuff and its all bad.
I;m afraid I've been spoiled by Busch Gardens. Carowinds was fun when I was a kid, but I like the size, layout, beauty of Busch Gardens as an adult. I'm not playing down Carowinds, though. It's great when you're a kid and just want to ride.

iva actually been here on my eighth grade trip twice lol. yes ive had two of em cause im retarded and failed. nevertheless though, this is by far my favorite amusement park to go to for roller coasters. i enjoy a good simulator or motion thingy(like spiderman or back to ther future) too. this place has the best mix of roller coasters(aside from cedar point of course) in my opinion.

I live in Charlotte, have a season pass (3rd season in a row) And honestly, Cedar Fair has ruined this park, they've neglected it just like every other paramount park they bought, with the exception of Kings Island. Carowinds is going down the tubes folks, believe it or not, it is, I hate to say it because Carowinds is my only love, but it's true.
i practically grew up at carowinds. i was THE FIRST one to ride the borg, and the twister and carolina cyclone were the first two rollercoasters i ever rode.
Park Employees and the group that installed the coaster (NOT Vekoma, but the group that installed it) were the first to ride it. You might have been the first paying customer to ride it, but not the first.
Plus it was a used coaster anyway. Hundreds of Thousands of people had rode it before it had ever arrived at Carowinds.
i was standing under the borg ride where the big net is above you, & when one coaster on it went over me, a quater fell & fit my left thumb & it hurt! lol
It was an alright video. I think the still picture zoom was overly used and its kinda hard to make an attention catching video to a musical score thats kinda mellow to a park thats action packed but it was an alright video
I used to work at Paramount's Great America on the West Coast years ago and we had the Borg rollercoaster (it was called Stealth when we had it). At least it's still running.

Tennesee Tornado, Mistery Mine, Thunderhead.

i practically grew up at carowinds. i was THE FIRST one to ride the borg, and the twister and carolina cyclone were the first two rollercoasters i ever rode.

Park Employees and the group that installed the coaster (NOT Vekoma, but the group that installed it) were the first to ride it. You might have been the first paying customer to ride it, but not the first.
Plus it was a used coaster anyway. Hundreds of Thousands of people had rode it before it had ever arrived at Carowinds.

the most freak thign happened to me there!!!!
i was standing under the borg ride where the big net is above you, & when one coaster on it went over me, a quater fell & fit my left thumb & it hurt! lol

lol its a conspiracy. i bet the only reason they have loops, corkscrews on coasters is so that they loose money. damn them.

It was an alright video. I think the still picture zoom was overly used and its kinda hard to make an attention catching video to a musical score thats kinda mellow to a park thats action packed but it was an alright video

I used to work at Paramount's Great America on the West Coast years ago and we had the Borg rollercoaster (it was called Stealth when we had it). At least it's still running.
