I don't think Arsene wenger needs to or will buy any stricker this summer. He said he will only buy one experianced player in the summer & I think it has to be & will be a v.good centerback. Any more players he buys after that will depend on which existing players leaves the club e.g lehmann, gilberto.

i'm quite surprised he hasn't got a brazil call-up yet given that adriano and ronaldo aren't quite up to full fitness and robinho is the only other quality striker they have. anyhow, some big club or the other will end up snapping him up sooner or later
why are we buying another striker its pointless he will probably get frustated at being the back up for kuyt or torres i think we shud get a defender like micah richards, kompany or mertesacker

Apparently he is of Italian descent, and as a result was also eligible for Italian citizenship which he acquired this year. Considering he has yet to get a senior call up for the Brazilian squad he would still be eiligible to play for the Italian national team if Donadoni were to call him up.
