Where did you get that exhaust from? I tried looking on magnaflows website for the SC400 and it didn't come up.

i love magnaflows...they make this car sound like sex on wheels but i mean they make anything sound good. i have a 4 cylinder truck and i put a magnaflow and it sounds like a european race car lol

I have to say I think MagnaFlow is amazing. Also, IMO V8 wise, I think the smaller displacement V8's sounds so damn good and better then any larger V8's. Hope you approve my Video response:)

A lot of people put some kind of performance exhaust on these cars that is meant for a Mustang or something, they destroy the original sound, this sounds nice, it growls without being too much!

wow big deal, omg its not street legal lol, and hp increase, unless ur taking off something else like a new cat or headers and just putting new mufflers on u might be right ha but no ur still restricting and the sc's have so much restriction that anything at all will help unless u take out the whole exhaust then u can talk about hp loss

straight pipes often cause alot of crackling and rasping sounds.

Personally from my experience, catback systems dont yield much improvement. Im running 2.25" dual from the primary cats with the 3rd cat deleted. At most, it probably gains 5 rwhp. If you're really serious about improving the exhaust, change the headers/manifold. The SC400 is infamous for its poor oem exhaust manifold design. I've heard the early SC4s often gain 10+ rwhp from that mod alone.

@Gergfer Problem is I hear you have to drop the motor to install headers on pretty much any car utilizing the 1UZFE motor, so I figured I'd get my headers done the same time I get any internal mods like cams to save myself the hassle and the Lexus owners seem to feel the same way.

sounds good, but just taking out the stock mufflers sounds and putting straight pipes in sounds just as good, I would try this before spending $250-$300 on a set of flows, I think you will like the straight pipes just as much.

After taking off the resonators, I may go with magnaflow mufflers and/or cat. I really like it loud, hearing that sweet V8.
