Has anyone of you guys that have had them for more than 6 months STILL use them and are they BROKE yet. My son and I have gone though 4 sets of these junk headphones, I mean the sound and fx are great but the construction is pure junk no matter how easy you are with them the plastic is real cheap and breaks right at the size adjust and the swizzle to the earpods.
@Ragewolf2008 have had mine for a few years now, use them almost daily, Ive dropped it a few times from my desk onto the carpet 3 or 4 foot drop, not a single issue.
I think it's great, but it dose feel a bit cheap, and light brown's not my color. If ur running vista, let vista do the work, and don't install the drivers they're pretty much useless, aside from unwantingly setting effects and filters on the sound
so i rendered them useless, decided to have some fun, take them apart. unscrewed the speakers and the wiring in them blew me away.. what a load of crap, tangled mess with solderd wires, burnt plastic wire casings and some of the screws holding a circuit bored weren't even screwed in all the way, what a bleeping joke!. I highly recommend not buying these! I'll be sticking with my Plantronics Audio 365's (Discontinued) ive had for a few years, although loosing the muff on the mic, no complaints.
i warn you, do not buy this poorly fabricated POS. First the mic breaks, they claim "New ambidextrous mic swivel with reinforced bearings" No, there arn't any bearings. so i put them in a away, in a box. decided to take them out one day.. apparently i must have blown the speakers some how.
I agree, i've bought them, in like 3 months they broke, if you move the headphone left to right, you can easily twist it and break the barely holding silver plastic peice of shit is all i have to say. DO NOT BUY!
ok got them and am using them. the sound is really crisp even too loud. mic is great. force feedback is cool but it tickles my ears and ill have to get use to it. don't know if i'm using 5.1 surround sound though. i'm using xp 64-bit maybe something wrong with the drivers. but it started to work when i plugged it in. been searching for xp 64-bit drivers but cant find any.
these are coming today. when i check them out ill repost here. i play alot of games. i also have 5.1 surround sound speakers but i live in an apartment complex and i needed headphones to play games at night. rodney do you know if the driver disk has drivers for Windows Xp 64-bit?

I have these but i have a problem! wen they are plugged in the audio through my normal speakers is shut off.
If nobody can help me they are going on ebay and im gonna buy a normal stereo headset and a 3.5mm splitter so i can have the headset and speakers at the same time
Try starting whatever audio you wanna play through your speakers, and while that's playing, plug the headphones in. All future audio should come through the headset. However, you cannot plug and play with whatever programs are running, it will freeze them. The audio should continue though.
BTW If anybody finds alternative drivers for these let me know. The newest on edimensional's site is from 07....
The Sound is GREAT! But the drivers don't work well with VISTA Home Premium 32bit. I can't start the drivers while the PC is running. When I want to start the installed software vista nothing happens. When i go down with the lowest volume it's still to loud. I need help
they look good....and for the price you'd think they'd be awesome....but in comparison to the Audio FX pro these are terrible...the only thing that is better is the microphone and thats it...audio quality is average, earcups are a pain....they only JUST fit over your ears, you can barely notice the vibration effects...don't get me wrong its a great headset its just not worth the price thats all...
the bass on Audio FX could just about make you vomit if you pump the right bass frequencies though it (no joke) but these are good but not quite worth the $100 AUD price tag (less in USD)

This headset is JUNK! I have had 2 of them and they do not last due to poor materials. Look for something elase..the support is terrible from Edemensional, they are rude and have a "give a _hit" attitude.

Don't you lose sound quality through USB? Infact some headphones that use USB for power even supply a wall-jack adapter because 'Using USB for power creates static on some motherboards.'?
wrong, usb can have static due to environmental interference which is why a lot of usb peripherals have dongles to prevent interference air in the cable has nothing to do with it.
This Headset i have one.. i try it and it is not good.. i am not comfortable with the headsets confort.. this hot to wear not good to stay longer using it and the sound quality i think same as the old version. i prefered to use the older version of this headset coz it feels better and works better and also the controls like the volume controls is digital for this one so its hard to identify how high you are how much level you are unlike the old version..
My headphones broke on one side. Both sides of the headphone were showing signs of weakeneing, cracks in the same place on both sides. I'm ticked off at it, and I have been trying to fix it.
EVERYTHING about it is retro as hell. The color is unfavorable but tolerable, but the volume controls on it are a bit insatisfying. Sometimes the comfortable volume is right BETWEEN what the headphones will allow u to get. Unfun alt-tabbing.
The rest I guess was pretty great for as long as it lasted...
Youre gonna be really disappointed if u buy these trust me! They do look pretty cool and are pretty comfortable too but the sound quality is just horrible.
if you want true 5.1 go for the Medusa 5.1 headset, it uses the 3 connectors for 5.1 and 1 connector for the mic, and usb for power, u can adjust the volume on center, front, rear and subwoofer separetely... check them out, there's no higher quality... oh and it comes with no software that simulates 5.1... 5.1 purity... rock on mates
That doin have 5.1 speakers they have a 50mm driver(speaker) with a 5.1 sound deconder. u can download sofware for free that will do it to any headphones and probably the worse quality headphone for the price and they look uncofortable get some sennheisers, beyer or akg headphones if u want good sound quality there probably what the people who design the games ur gonna use on would most likly use these akgs, beyers etc
i find this is a great headset as in the uk you can get it for £30 and for me my headsets take hit after hit and i pay about £10 and they last 2 months. if this is truly stronger it should be great value as it will last years and is ALOT better with features and sound quality then my current £10 ones. i think this is a buy i would like to get

I agree completely, I doubt he's ever used them because I for sure have had a bad experience with their eDimensional's Force Feedback Gaming Headset, it's sturdy, but I don't that they're comfortable at all, what 3DGameman should is actually try out the products he advertises rather than to read the little scripts his fucking little company gives him.
What a scam, 3DGameman is a scam, don't support this bullshit, he's a complete scam.

Don't you lose sound quality through USB? Infact some headphones that use USB for power even supply a wall-jack adapter because 'Using USB for power creates static on some motherboards.'?

no the normal jacks can have alot mroe static usb only have static if u introduce air into the cords but the jacks if they twist it can cause static

wrong, usb can have static due to environmental interference which is why a lot of usb peripherals have dongles to prevent interference air in the cable has nothing to do with it.

This Headset i have one.. i try it and it is not good.. i am not comfortable with the headsets confort.. this hot to wear not good to stay longer using it and the sound quality i think same as the old version. i prefered to use the older version of this headset coz it feels better and works better and also the controls like the volume controls is digital for this one so its hard to identify how high you are how much level you are unlike the old version..

It says on the website it's compatible with PS3 usb ports so it may work with 360
I dont know who would have a PS3 though

My headphones broke on one side. Both sides of the headphone were showing signs of weakeneing, cracks in the same place on both sides. I'm ticked off at it, and I have been trying to fix it.
EVERYTHING about it is retro as hell. The color is unfavorable but tolerable, but the volume controls on it are a bit insatisfying. Sometimes the comfortable volume is right BETWEEN what the headphones will allow u to get. Unfun alt-tabbing.
The rest I guess was pretty great for as long as it lasted...

Had the headphones for about 1 month now. They are good in-game like said last time, but now I'm occuring some problems.
The Headset sometime's cut's out in games, for no reason. It's to do with the headband and the connection.
The Microphone is good, it's working great on ts2, and ventrilo ( communication programs ).
Installing IS EASY. Beware I've just been to a LAN and my headset broke out 3 times, luckly I had the install CD again...

Review of Audio Fx 5+1 Pro Headset.
I got this headset only two days ago - I am very impressed with the sound, and how they catch the in-game sound.
The Headset is very good for comfort, and has a very good mictrophone, thats even good on teamspeak :P..
As I am a Gamer, this headset will help you all - it's very good and has improoved my game

Youre gonna be really disappointed if u buy these trust me! They do look pretty cool and are pretty comfortable too but the sound quality is just horrible.

you should buy either the SteelSound 5Hv2+USB or Icemat Siberia. its a total kickass headsets rather than the Razer barracuda.

if you want true 5.1 go for the Medusa 5.1 headset, it uses the 3 connectors for 5.1 and 1 connector for the mic, and usb for power, u can adjust the volume on center, front, rear and subwoofer separetely... check them out, there's no higher quality... oh and it comes with no software that simulates 5.1... 5.1 purity... rock on mates

That doin have 5.1 speakers they have a 50mm driver(speaker) with a 5.1 sound deconder. u can download sofware for free that will do it to any headphones and probably the worse quality headphone for the price and they look uncofortable get some sennheisers, beyer or akg headphones if u want good sound quality there probably what the people who design the games ur gonna use on would most likly use these akgs, beyers etc

i find this is a great headset as in the uk you can get it for £30 and for me my headsets take hit after hit and i pay about £10 and they last 2 months. if this is truly stronger it should be great value as it will last years and is ALOT better with features and sound quality then my current £10 ones. i think this is a buy i would like to get
