Well i made to the end. I wasn't expecting a Academy Award...duh , but i got to say the lighting in this movie sucked. Story was ok , usual run of the mill horror movie. Can't say i understand the whole story due to the whispering of some of the dialogue which was hard to hear and the lighting of a lot of scenes.

I finally found the "Butler house", on the border of Oyster Bay and Mill Neck, NY (Long Island). The location couldn't be more appropriate--I've been biking in this area for 5 years now, and the worst stretch of road to be stuck on is that which runs along the property (on W. Shore Road)! That's because there is absolutely no shoulder to the curvy road, and the hedge even sticks out for part of it which forces you completely into the road. Potentially bloody, indeed!

That bloke burning is our uncle Ned who was always setting himself on fire. He was really great come summer for a barbeque just wasn't the same without him. We'd say things like "Come scream over here uncle Neddy we got sausages and shit!" He'd come rolling over moaning which sort of freak out the neighbours and guests a bit but once they got use to it, they'd bring over their own petrol tins or ask if they could borrow him for the week-end. R.I.P uncle Neddy, R.I. effing P, uncle Neddy!  :o)o:

The storyline feels a little disjounted and weak, but the atmosphere is awesome. Very dark and creepy.

The description of the movie is totally inaccurate as near as I can tell. The sound was so low that I could only catch parts of it. I really never did understand what was going on. The conclusion was nice, if the preceding story leading up to it had actually led up to it!
