@TheBuilditBoys Easy, you just have to replace your current .jar file with that one... Search youtube for 'How to install 12w03a' (or 12w04a). There are some tutorials. Keep in mind your mods will stop working because it's like a new game update.

You don't need to backup your old worlds in this update. Jeb specifically stated that worlds first generated before the version won't generate differently, they won't have Jungles or anything. I talked with the maker of AMIDST, and he talked to me about how the generation code got some extra stuff specifically to prevent older worlds from being messed up.

For those wondering, the vines have been made able to climb to make everyone happy. The vines have no collision so you can use them if that's what you like. The ladders do have collision, so it won't mess up any mob traps or you standing on them.

Silly question, what kind of hit box do the vines have? The regular ladder collision box or the 1.1 ladder missing collision box?

Honestly, I wish it were the other way around. Ladders cost less resource wise to make than signs, stack and produce a lot less lag when used in mass. They were a perfect replacement for all the sign abuse. Vines, not so much.

Now everyones bitching that trap doors got useless and piston-hidden entries leading down are broken(u gotta place a block next to trapdoors which looks ugly etc etc.), so now they're back. Only people bitching now is the people that wanna do parkour... At least that's what I understood/heard/saw...? Glad its back
