  • Everyone should really take heed to this Ron Paul ad. Not a supporter, but the ad is spot on. Now Tracey Lee was a beast on the mic, and this break he choses is clasic. Marley Marl used to rock this joint, so did Just Allah and C Divine. on WHBI back in the day. Those that are from that era know what I'm speaking on.

  • CLASSIC PARTY JAM

  • CLASSIC JOINT...THIS WAS ONE OF THE HOTTEST PARTY JAMZ!!

  • how is "up in a chickens mid section" offensive?

  • the hook sounds fresh as a muthafucka, why can't rappers make club tracks like this rather than some gay ass techno sounding beat.

  • this song had nyc on fire back in 1996. hot record!

  • He's a lawyer now. What a contrast in careers. How many people can say they have been a rapper and an attorney in the same life time. I admire that kinda versatility.

  • @nathene069 I got the cd single and i still play it

  • @swissbeats2k That's cool. I was trying to find the song, but couldn't remember who's song it was. All I could remember was the hook.

  • This is how you do a party song.

  • GREAT SONG. Heavily influenced by School House Rock's "You know they're nouns" segment. This jam still ROCKS!!!!

  • i buy this record two times,

    only for the instrumental.

after two years i found a good house version from this track.

    great work.

  • @kidaleks where can i found that house version? i'd love to hear it. sounds like that would be pretty cool.

  • And gettin' the hook from School House Rock was genius...plus Tre had a sick flow to go wit it!

  • It's Tre Lee "Esquire" now.....Dog got his law degree!

  • qhhahahaha u suck

  • I just noticed that at 3:42 pirate is holding his glass eye in his right hand.

  • Classic beat no doubt.... .Hot..

  • Great song, last heard this over 14 years ago, sound good as ever!! new stuff cant touch this

  • ita party tyme

  • CHECK OUT CAMP LO....THIS IS IT!!

  • HE PROVED THAT YOU COULD HAVE A PARTY JAM AND STILL BE LYRICAL....I MISS THE 90's ....

  • @MentalWisdom I know the 80's and 90's were the true hip hop Eras man. Even though the guns, b***** and gang rapping was always an undertone. But back then it wasn't as in your face and it was always about having a good time and expressing yourself. it's a shame hip hop evolved into "rap" and "crunk". But there are still hip hop artists out there...

  • @MentalWisdom Word, without any wack-ass pop-music dance to follow it too...

  • woooow, been lookin for this for a min now lol. "Its party time, oh its party time, havin a party, c'mon" classic!

  • Tracey Lee - The Theme... CLASSIC!!! Where HE at? I need him and Pirate on a tracc

  • tracey lee was that nigga 97 was that year 4 real the 90's was the shit bring that era back

  • philly baby!

  • this song is still hot to me!!

  • this beat was sick in the mid 90's and its still sick.

  • i have been looking for this video for YEARS MAN but i forgot his name but i knew it was tracey something ah thank to who ever uploaded this

  • dumb old but beat kind of still hot

  • i was in japan when this came out and okinawa went crazy when this came on in clubs

  • what an underated mc

  • Dis shit aint no classic. now, my white tee's, thats a classic. that snap shit, now thats a classic. but this; shit, I dont know. (sarcasm).

  • Damn...i thought I was the ONLY ONE who remembered how dope this song was! I LOVED this jam yo...i had to google the lyrics just to remember dudes name tho......i think that might of been the problem....Tracy Lee??? That's not memorable. LOL!

  • LOL.....I did the same thing too, I agree it was a great song & how he flipped the chorus from Skool House Rock, so that makes the whole joint a classic to me, I forgot about this song until I watch an episode of NYC UC.

  • this song was played 8 times in a row, in the club which biggie was in 2hours before he got shot. :(

    the theme...

  • I use to love this song because the hook sounds like the ol' skool joint "NOUNS" by School House Rock!!!!

  • go to my page to see the live show at jam rock with harve pierre ..it was his b day ..party

  • Howard University! He was in school when this came out

  • I just pulled this album out recently to see if it was as good as I remembered and it was really solid. If T Lee debut around now, he would be huge. Bad timing, cause this is a classic. I looked Tracey Lee up on Wiki and it looks like he is now a law school graduate. Good for him, its good to see rappers still prosper in other positive achievements after their quick moment in the Hip Hop spotlight. I agree with starchildarryl, the video could have been much better and more hype.

  • nice song! i still play this!

  • nice song...BORING ass VIDEO tho

  • This was and still is the jam...

  • CLASSIC!!!!!!!!
