Mr Winkle is just a precious fur-baby ! He reminds me actually of a kitty I had for 14 years. She was born with cerebral palsy and her body moved alot like Mr Winkle ! Shw had the same wobbly legs and somewhat droopy back end ! She lived a long healthy and very spoiled life and we adored her as does Mr Winkle's Mom ! He is a little miracle and I love him sooo much !!!

I have read about Mr. Winkle, and the poor thing was rescued after it may have been left for dead. I heard that he might be slightly brain damaged, so his owner saved his life. I think it's ok that she takes photos of him because he is so precious!

he does not move alot because dog trainers tire the dog out extremley before a show or a picture taking so they wont move around so much and stay still, explains why the dog's tounge is out and breathing rather heavy

i think its so cute, but it disturbes me a little bit at how he doesn't move a lot, then again i've only seen videos of him so im sure he moves a lot when he's not on camera lol. i think it might be because of the clothes, cuz i know when we put clothes on my dog she didn't want to move at all lol. that or Mr. winkles is just lazy =p haha jk but hes so cute, and it does look like ur taking very good care of him. i don't think it's cruel.

ebonymcc: They're using strobe flash lights, so Mr. Winkle isn't under hot, continuous tungsten lights (like you would be if you were shooting a real movie). It's impossible to tell how long this photo shoot took, but Mr. Winkle looks fine to me. And who wouldn't like somebody to bring you water when you're in bed?

I have always thought Mr. Winkle was adorable, but after watching this, I feel sorry for him. He was under the hot lights so long he had to have water. Notice early on when he is picked up off the bed and re-arranged -- it looks like his legs are bound together. There isn't any individual limb movement, his back end moves as one unit. Is he restrained in this manner to keep him from leaving? Dog modeling doesn't look like a fun life to me.

Mr. Winkle was NOT under hot lights during this photo shoot - or any photo shoot. The lights used are strobes that generate no heat whatsoever. Nor were his "legs bound".  He was just relaxing in a soft little bed, the same way most dogs do half the day. Mr. Winkle is the love of my life and treated like royalty all the time. lara jo regan
