I watched all of the original animated series and they re-arranged a lot of the dynamics in the relationships of the characters in Xmen. I like Jean and Logan together in the movie version, but is Rogue is into Logan he sees her as a little sister, maybe if she were 5 years older, or him younger but at the ages the movie portrays them as them together is a bit creepy to me...

The third film ruined Jean/Phoenix character completely. If you watch the second x men film, you see the phoenix start to emerge and if Bryan Singer the directer of the first two films stayed on for the third it would have been an entirely different movie. Also, they killed scott off in the third film because the actor left with the original director for Superman Returns. Jean/Phoenix is a great character, don't let people and the misdirection of the third film tell you otherwise.

@kiba2cheza lol *sigh. Jean/Phoenix is a classic comic book storyline. The end of the second basically hinted the inevitable with her character. She grew too powerful then died. And no, cyclops was not killed off because the actor went and did superman returns. thats the dumbest thing i've read in a while. it was a plot point, shooting literally takes a month or 2 at the most he could have been in it. it was a means to emphasize logan/jeans relationship more

@zmajzmaj123 Umm logan didn't know jean killed Scott before they stoped kissing, and Logan thought she was herself, he first registrated that she wasn't at the end of their kiss - and then he wanted to save her from her bad side, so that is not completly true :)
