Carl Orff composed Carmina Burana as a ballet piece, so the rythm reflects the natural cadence of human body. This version of Catulli Carmina would be better with that in mind, the flow of rythm is too hard. I have a vynil of Catulli Carmina from 1953 or something that sounds smoothly, like Ricardo Mutti's version of Carmina Burana
sound just horrible, way too much vibrato.

Vibrato isn't needed with this piece... it detracts from the statement of power and dramatic variance.
We're going to sing this for our chorus' 25th anniversary, I hope.

ok, roses, symbols of love, makes sense the original poem is about love and hate. but wait, moons and water and ice and serene landscapes.... huh?

I love Carmina Burana....I don't really like this. I feel like it's blasphemy to set Catullus to music...

I'm beginning to wonder if there is a single good interpretation of this piece on YouTube. I have yet to find one...

I love this wonderful piece of music, but in my opinion this is a really horrible interpretation!
Too much vibrato, only technique and no feeling at all!
For me it's a "poser version".
I'd rather like to hear it performed by an amateur choir to this one ...
