How to Contour your cheekbones and face!

@corene221 No, it's not necessary. It's to give depth to the face, if there's nothing on your face you'd like to define or make look smaller, there's really no reason for it.

Hi, that is a great tip, however what if you want the opposite? I have a bony angular face that I would like to look more roundish and girly, not so thin. Is that acheivable with makeup?  How? It looks amazing on you- and your face shape is great! I can see how this would be harder for poeple at first and def not coming up with results they wanted but if you do it and it feels like you came out muddy looking.. just lighten up on what you are using and double check your lines. its like liquid eyeliner... tough at first then you can do it in the dark before you know it.. lol

I only go up to 2 shades darker and only use a powder to avoid looking "dirty" or too much makeup. I use kandee's method of shading and also the highlighting of the nose and top of cheeks. Love it! Looks like I lost ten pounds every time :D

I don't think contouring works in real life. In real life, either it looks like you don't know how to do your make-up since your face is darker from certain places/angle (even if you blend it), and or you have too much make-up on your face. Contouring works if it's picture day, and you want your face defined for the pictures. It's not like someone meeting me in real life will be deceived into thinking that my face is slim.

The best way really to enhance cheekbones is to chew properly: lips sealed until you swallow! because it makes the jaw works as it should, and because all muscles are interrelated it lifts up the cheeks and the zygomatic arch is more defined!

I use cheap foundations but I did invest in the Mac Silver Dusk irridescent loose powder.
