  • @6fortyam Haha yeah, I hate that when that happens!

  • Gosh he's keeping time which is very important especially with this song but i love it man i want to play at the end of my senior recital because it a great peace to end my college years off with. It has every emotion I experienced in it.

  • @Moddance19 Yes, although I must admit the foot is a little distracting, my newer versions have less foot and more song =p

    Thanks for the comment.

  • long time dont play final fantasy....when i hear this song, i remembered all the story in final fantasy :)

  • Very nice :D

  • I was watching your treno video.. and I was like why are you moving your left foot!?? Now I see... rofl.

  • wow i like this ;D

  • ur playing's not bad....no offense...but it's really funny watching ur left leg lol

  • Isn't this the exact same song at the end of Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past?

  • @RedIV Hi I listened to the piece, it's bears similarities in style but the LOZ music is composed by Kōji Kondō and Final Fantasy is composed by Nobuo Uematsu. I supposed when Final Fantasy used to be on the SNES perhaps they did cross over in styles, but to answer your question, no, they are different pieces.

  • I'm fully aware of the 2 separate composers. That's why it seemed strange to me.

  • Oh I always want to cry when I hear this game in the final fantasy series.

The Piano Version is just awesome and I love it. T_T

  • Thank you =)

Although I think the orchestration is fuller, this piece is just as good especially towards the ending of the piece.

  • you are my hero! you play all of the FF songs so well! i'm jealous~

I'm so suprised how many people know FF online, but no one knows it at all in my state :(

  • Haha thanks, Wow, I can't believe their are people who don't know Final Fantasy. Well their newer stuff isn't as good, but damn what state you live in?

    Thanks for the comment!

    CheonHoPark

  • @rebaamarie123 Lol yeah!!! FF10 and below all the way!

  • whats is the name of the song???

  • @bono300vox

It's called "Ending Theme" or sometimes the "Main Theme." It's in most Final Fantasy games.

  • Wow, amazing! :D

  • lol. keeping tempo with your left foot? nice !

  • well played... i tired to learn this on guitar once but it was too hard for me skill level.

  • HI, thanks, it's a beautiful song... and I am sure this will sound quite beautiful on a guitar as well.

    CheonHoPark

  • Good job, man. I'm attempting to learn this song by ear.

  • what's wrong with your foot man? LOOL

    UP down UP down xD

  • beautiful and very talented work, I love every piece you played

  • instead of watching the hands i was sort of drawn to watcing the leg move up and down. lol.

  • Beautiful song ^^ keep on playing !

  • this music is in almost in EVERY final fantasy at some point; it's in the credits for all the playstation ones i know for a fact

  • Actually, I don't believe they used it in X (and maybe some others that weren't in the main series). But yeah, I think it's generally called the Final Fantasy Theme, and it does appear in almost every game.

  • ya, its not in a few, but most of them have it at some point in the game

  • lol, leg

  • excuse me but... this song is not on final fantasy XII ? just intro :)

  • this is music from final fantasy VIII, not XII...

  • The same fanfare is found throughout many of the series, and yes this is found in FFXII.

It's found before the game's new game/continue introductory sequence

  • This song is in most of them

  • wow this is great!

  • easy on ur left leg lol

  • @eyadmar i think hes counting the beats...lol

  • Even though its on piano, it still sounds really good

  • Excellent, but revise your rhythms :s

  • For the actual song, go to channel - Cloud183

  • My favourite video game ending, VIII was perfect, and I really enjoyed watching this video!

  • U deserve much more then five stars!

  • Lepo to zvuci!!!

  • awesome, i had to give jou 5 stars :)

    keep on playing!

  • can you find sheet music on this? i really love this piece i heard it from kylelandry and i checked out other people's and this is excellent!

  • Yes Sir I am just going to need your email, thanks!

Squall does NOT die! Watch past the ending credits...It shows him and Rinoa kissing on the balcony of Garden.

  • excellent and beautiful i do believe squall met her :)

because he appears back to life :) or concious lol at the desert

  • this track is in my top 4 favorte songs on the OST! I love the the ending...around 4:20 ...just AWESOME!!! your mom or who ever walked in just in time for the last couple measures...LOL!!! good playing man! :-)

  • aww, i havent completed the game yet :'C but cant wait to see the ending :D

  • It's a beautiful ending... don't worry you definitely will be rewarded with one fantastic ending!

  • excelente 5/5 ^^

  • Excelent!

Someone can tell me where I can find the piano sheet please??

  • it's great and it's the longest description I've ever read =P

  • wow haha perfect timing on the ending, i would be PISSED if they came in during the middle or something

  • for me it is ok but sometimes he got the wrong key!!

    but great!!

  • Reminds me of FF IV T_T

  • That is the longest description i've ever read. :P that aside it was very well played, and I totally understand what you mean about orchestrated peices on the piano. Not going to go into detail cause you have pretty much covered it in the decription :P. FF8 is still in my top 5 FF games and you did it proud with your interpretation of these peices.

  • Actually I believe this is the actual "FF theme song" when you finally get the original intro in the NES game this is what is played. This is the theme song of FF. I don't mean in FF1 when you turn it on but when you complete the first easy task and then are cut off to view the game credits etc. this is the song played or a version of it.

  • Very classic - I got goosebumps the first time beat the game -- was a very cool ending, with very cool music ~ great job =)

  • awsome

  • (^-^)Good work(^-^)

  • This is also a song included in the ff 12 prelude.

  • FFIX's ending theme is Melodies of Life. I think Seven and Eight end with this song...Anyway great job ^.^

Your foot was going to beat and it was kinda distracting, but great job!

  • He was working the pedals, not tapping his foot.

  • When you work the pedals, sometimes it looks like its going the beat. So I'm gonna say it was going the beat.

  • he's doing both isn't it obvious :D

  • Lol,ok!

  • This always reminds me of graduating, like they're saying, "Congratulations! You've graduated from this Final Fantasy!" It always makes me feel sad to finish a game...

  • Iz it just me or duz it sound like a theme frum ff4. I think it kind of duz. Anywayz excellent job.

  • Your right, but this theme has been used extensively throughout the Final Fantasy Series

  • it is the main theme for all final fantasy

or main ending theme im not sure

  • EXCELLENTT!!

  • jealous, since i was little i always watched my sister play video games and i've always wanted to learn how to play them :]

i love this song, your truly amazing

  • A little to choppy, but good tonal control. Try not to make it so obvious you're keeping the beat. A little rubato would do you good.

  • this is just a great piece especially when you play it.

  • i love this song man!! some don't like b cuz it is slow or changes but its just like life ore the seasons, never stays the same forever. do you happen to play Succession of Witches?

  • I would love the play that piece but unfortunately schooling has put me on time constraints... so no, thanks for the comment!

  • o well, u are a badass at playing piano. i always wanted to learn it : (

    maybe later in life...

  • i'm learning to play succession of witches so if you want i'll out it on here for you?

  • That would be great, Chris! Thanks for the comment also!

  • thanks a lot do it up !!!

  • nice, I love Final Fantasy 8... great work

  • Amazing. I love Final Fantasy's music and you play it beautifully.

  • ooooh... thank you man! i was thinking of gettin g the ff8 collections book, since i own 7, and am doing ~5 songs from there... it sounds great, i have decided i am getting 8 now!

  • FF8 PC has great collections like Eyes on me and Fisherman's horizon, Ami, and more.. I wish you the best of luck learning the beautiful pieces. Thanks.

  • you're so good in piano man! I could only play the parts A, B and C of this song.

Can you give me some suggestion on what final fantasy piano collection soundtrack is the easiest one, coz i'm just a beginner.

  • To Zanarkand excluding the large 16th note part, Aeriths theme, Ami, are, yuna's ballad are good examples =D

  • Wow! That was amazing!!!! you're really good!!! How many years have you been playing for?

  • I have been playing for about 13 years, thanks!

  • well it sure pays off! Ive been playing for only 3! lol! hopeless!!!

  • No don't say that, trust me, as long as you keep practicing you could learn years beyond me, I unfortunately haven't practiced as much as I should in my younger years, you will eventually master anything as long as you set your mind to it =D

  • Thnx soo much for that! RLy means alot. Ur my new inspiration! Whooo! hehe

  • Great playing! And I like the doggy in the end =)

  • youre freaking me out! youre damn good! man! can u teach me! L.o.L i really want to play a piano!

  • HOW BEAUTIFUL!!!

Please! Can you put the sheet in a site????We will really like them!☆☆♪♪♪

  • fö.. egyed

  • nice!

you looked like you had fun playing it. i know i had a great time listening to it.

  • it's easy but if u improv it like the way this one professional guy did it... it's tougher but sounds so much more spectacular!

  • Do you mean Kyle Landry's Version? I agree, that version is outstandingly beautiful, but actually the version he plays was arranged, The piano tune was found in Final Fantasy 1987 Orchestra CD as a bonus track labeled, Final Fantasy Piano Version.

  • you should try liberi fatali, its relitivly eaisly but i still cant perfect it... nice job

  • Yo, you got any tips for playing that run at 3:10?? I'm having trouble getting it smooth and even.

  • Best way to is to take it one step at a time, Learn the right hand first, and then the second, over time your finger muscle memory will increase allowing you to play them at the same time. It gets tougher since more notes are required, the beat is also extremely important... and metronome is very helpful.

  • No it's just the descending run in the left hand. How should I count the notes? In the score it counts it as 3 groups of 6tuplets and then a group of 7tuplets. Should I try to count that or just work on playing the pattern evenly...

  • It's difficult to actively count the notes vocally especially when they go by fast. Practicing the rhythmic pattern slowly while relying more on feeling (using the beat) is usually how I attempt difficult rhythm. Learning to feel the first beat of every measure is your best bet.

  • Nice

  • great playing, loved it, im trying to learn succession of witches at the moment! 5/5 ^_^

  • That's great, if you are able to load it on video sometime... hit me up, and I'd be the first to listen =D

  • ff8 ending? are u sure?

  • Yep, it also is shown in other ff's as intros, but mainly ending themes. This particular arrangement however is found exactly in FF

  • stiff hands but nice playing ^^ o yea make sure u put ur heels on the ground ^^ work on it kiddo

  • Haha great playing! The end was funny, though.

  • Where did you buy the sheet music?

  • i kinda keep beat in head lol....i wanted to see wot u and ur bro could do so im jsut looking thru 4 inspiration hehe =D

  • Yep That's the best way to do it.

  • You have a good start, as long as you keep continue practicing you can become a very fine pianist, It's good to find people who motivate you in anything not just in piano. Thanks =D

  • it may be better to lower the camera angle so people dont pay attention to your feet but the piano music

  • haha his feet is so funny x] otherwise well played 5/5

  • look at his feet, they don't stop moving.HEy who cares ,Exelent playing

  • It's called keeping a beat.

  • lol i got a little carried away, technically pianist are supposed to keep the beat to themselves, but for what ever reason my leg just wouldn't stay still during this recording =p

  • All and all it sounds awesome. The tempo is a little slow but is still played very well

  • This is why Final Fantasy is my favorite series of all time. There is not one game that I dont like. This brings back many memories.

  • FF8 was the first FF game i ever played. ..it will always be one of my favorites.. .damn. . music like this REALLY brings back memories..

  • amen to that. The game that started me on RPG's and i was like 7 when i got it, and it was one of the best gifts i ever got. I still play it to this day. Same original game.

  • I am sure if the first you had played was FFVII, like me, it would be your favorite

  • After FF8, then i played FF7. Most FF Series are my favorites..

  • Your left leg is fucking awesome. Enough said!

  • lol.

  • where can i find a sheet music of this song becuase i want to learn how to play it please

  • I'm sorry...but the violent tapping of your left foot really distracted me...I do it too sometimes, but not as violently as that. lol, pretty good playing, you'll get it perfect if you keep practicing :)

  • aww! i like this song!!

makes me wanna cry and play the game again...!!

  • Very good job, this is my favorite music theme to Final Fantasy games.

  • i am totally manly enough to watch this. i'm feMALE for a reason! haha. how did you get the camera at this angle? put it on the ceiling? I never realized that the ending was 30 mins. i thought it was about 15. i never actually played that card game when all the scenes and credits are over XD

i think that's a record. the record of the longest info ever written (not song lyric) for a youtube video. good job there mate!

  • hahah yes but I was including the dialog story line... Yeah I tend to write a lot, I like to, describe what I was trying to intend, last time I got a comment saying i was full of myself, but its too late for that, all my videos have long ass descriptions, thanks XD

  • i thought hes useing the pedal

  • he is using the pedal

  • I was about to talk about your leg tapping on the ground underneath the bench, but I was distracted by your playing... not bad. Keep practicing to get perfect there!

  • LOL AT YOUR LEG!

Beautiful playing, the leg didn't bother me at all it made me laugh =p

  • if you guys are worried about his leg, check out keith jarret's piano playing on youtube, hes amazing but he freaks out while he plays...its all part of it tho. ps nice playing

  • dude. tap ur feet or somrthign. looks like that foot is gonna drill a hole right through that floor.

  • watch another genius, Patricio Molina when he was 3 and 6 years old. amazing!!

  • nice. i do the count it out with my leg too.... although it's a bad habit for me since i also play steel pan drums.... ouchies

  • lol unfortunately xluffyx does not know that his nervous habit in his left leg is actually counting the beats.

  • who cares bout his leg man its all bout the musix

  • Yes and unfortunately for those who don't read the descriptions I provide, I also have 2 revisions, all which I don't do that "horny leg thing." xD

  • correct!

  • woahhh ur so goood!!! how long did it take for u to learn it!? can u send me the sheet music?

  • lol i see you have a nervous habit in your left leg. Lol thats all i noticed throughout this whole song. But anyways good job.

  • i agree whith sakuratree

  • hello~ thats really nice ...its that possible to play a trial for us to learn?i'll be very appreicated..!!thx ~!

  • lol - good job not throwing a brick at whoever started talking 5 seconds before the end of this absolutely massive peice. Amazing!

  • that beginning piece is actually used in all Final Fantasy games. It's always presented after the final boss has been defeated.

  • three words: that was awsome!

  • I thought i would just inform everyone that the beinging of the video..That song was in FFI too, just in case you forgot. Don't give all the respect to VIII!(although it deserves much respect, game was amazing in the music and story areas.)

  • Great stuff - I can just picture the ending scene's as you play the music. I'm currently playing FF-12 at the moment and that has some great music so you should give that a try !

  • ur awesome

  • I remember this now!!! I love FFVIII best!

  • Excellent game music gives children pleasures, and it reminds them of the happy days of their childhood after they grow up.

  • heyy nice i love that song so much, but PLEASE! try not to move that leg, at least not that much...;) and well, nice job

  • Lol, good job. Stupid mom aggro lol

  • whats wrong with ur leg"?!!?? amagad

  • maybe it was bobbing to the beat, so has a mind of it's own

  • He is tapping to measure beats to stay on top.

  • you went a bit manic with the leg but... great played

  • nice ending ! it was funny too!
