MFB = the best sounding gear, with the worst build quality imo. I bought the Kraftzwerg, sounded incredible but totally built like a plastic toy. It wouldn't have lasted long on the road, I sent it back, bummed. I think all their stuff is built the same way.

hihats and cymbal sound close to 808. otherwise it's not very faithful to the original. the cowbell sounds particularly bad. still looks like a usable and fun unit for the price.

some noises in analog circuits are quite normal .. it depend from machine to machine .. check your power supply to get the right voltage.

this sounds so much better than pretty much any korg or equivalent of korg i've ever heard. It's extremely clean on the output, unlike any korg or akai I've ever heard. Seems to me the designer of this layout thought long and hard about isolating the power and audio components from each other. I don't hear a damn thing aside from the beefy drums, and that's saying alot for youtube quality audio. I will definitely be purchasing a couple of these when I get the funds. bravo!
