are marlin, swordfish, sailfish, and spearfish all the same or is there a distinction?

well, to my knowledge sailfish have a bigger dorsal fin(usually used to make themselves look bigger), Marlin have a smaller dorsal fin, but can grow larger, and i wouldnt know about swordfish & spearfish. Hope it helps
