I'm just coming out of the (atheist) closet and would like to attend. Where are you? I need to get some advice on dealing with the atheist haters.

I'm in Texas, and this event was held in Austin. We have lots of local Atheist groups here.
You can also send me a message via Youtube anytime. I have a TON of experience with people who hate us.

Also, i would like to know what goes on during the meetings, i have see a little on youtube but are there classes per say. Are there interactive conversations about being an atheist, are their any recommendations for volunteerism, is there any information on being an ethical and moral atheist? etc.
