  • aha I got it, thanks for the comment and value infos Fwright88

  • What kind of lbs of static thrust would this produce and cost to buy ???

  • You really should to remove "Jetcat" from the title. They make great engines but this is not one of theirs.

  • ObjectiveHate, it is realy depressing when you can't find someone who already has all abilities to build modal RC-Harrier with jet-cat engine.

everything is available but not everybody is persistent.

    thanks for comment

  • @saebinfocus You are welcome. I wish I had the money to start and of course finish a project like this.

  • but i need more people to join me for this project ,any volunteers ?

I wished to start projectin modal RC Harrier, I will help as much I can, only keep in touch on your project arcdirect

  • Damn! Once someone got into the video with the engine I realized that assembly is much larger than it initially looked. For over a decade I have been waiting to see a scale RC Harrier that was actually capable of VTOL. That unit looks like it will work. Sure as hell sounds like it also.

  • I , saw Ewald Schuster , did not take off vertically ,just on runway with long long ,take off . It,s more then just a jet eng , to do Harrier go vertically . I,m working on it , but i need more people to join me for this project ,any volunteers ?

  • at last a proper turbofan, i wonder how much combined frust it gives? and if he has got the balance right between the front cold thrust and rear hot thrust

  • nothing will happen (^ ^) , only with 120,000 RPM the finger will transform into a juice

lol , thanx for your comment

  • stick ur finger in therre ... i dare ya >:) lol

  • Looks like the inside of a Harrier

  • He works for swift engineering i believe. He's the only one to be building this scale vtol harrier. Posted at USC currently.

  • Ewald Schuster ? sorry i don't mean to offended him.

this video is not mine , i took it from some website i don't remember exactly.

but as i see its a good model , though it's not a home built model.

is Ewald Schuster the inventor of vtol models ?

  • @saebinfocus It's not "home built" but it is custom built and designed by Ewald Schuster and a team of university students at USC. He has built a number of custom turbofans. Jetcat makes jet-turbines (turbojets) NOT turbofans, which are distinctly different. This model is an actual turbofan, and works similarly to the Rolls Royce Pegasus in the real Harrier. This only works with a turbofan scheme, because you need cold air bypass to drive the front nozzles for vertical flight.

  • don't offend Ewald Schuster, this is NOT a freakin' jetcat engine! It's scratch built and needs way more talent even to think about it.

  • @ThePilotpatrick

i didn't buy it i only uploaded it to youtube cuz i didn't see a similar video when i got it from rcgroups

  • i got this video from rcgroups , not sure but maybe from this topic :

  • that is the first time I've ever seen the RC turbo fan jet engine.
