  • WHAT HE CALL ME?

  • I'VE SEEN THIS SOOO MANY TIMES BEFORE!

  • scary but cool

  • i love how they call it a 540 even though its a 720

  • @whiteboyz2431 its not a 720. its 540

  • ... what?

  • Comment removed

  • i have been trying this for few years.... and i can still only do 360 hook and jump hook... no where close to 540><

  • is this kick needed to be a blackbelt?

  • dude you are the best i want to learn that

  • excellent move... nice to see you added the steps involved too rather than just showing off the kick only.. i think the execution of the actual hit itself is what makes this kick great.

  • "It's with a K, not a G..... It's a 720, not a 540....."

What you call it in your hood really seems kinda petty. It's a pretty good tutorial, and a pretty cool kick. Please post something better if you can.

  • @scotth5533 The reason it says TaeGwonDo is because it's closer to the actual way koreans say it then as opposed to our american accent of saying Taekwon do simply because it's spelled that way. And alot of taekwon do kicks have different names it can be called a 540 or a 720 same way spinning hook kick is also known as spinning heel kick.

  • nice kick and nike taekwondo uniform

  • Isn't 540 landed on the kicking leg?

I think this is an 720...?

  • @uniquesolo96

No, I think yer thinking of the TRICKING 540, which is executed more similarly to a traditonal tornado kick.

  • The person who is teaching the korean tigers right now. The person who taught him is now my master in america. His name is Master Seo

  • I can do that.

  • Nice 540... Glad to see someone doing it right.

  • im my 6 years of tangsoodo training my instructor never tought us a 540

  • thats a cheat 720 :/

  • ur a black belt and call urself a trainee?

  • @aneesharyan relax bro, im not trying to teach him korean, i thought he didnt know how to spell it

  • he makes it look so easy,

  • He sounds like he smokes 40-a-day.

  • JYAH!!! CHYAH!!

  • omg stupidest comments ever ITS K NO G >> u dont know korean then stfu

  • Yes, in English its pronounced TKD because the referred 'G' is the sound used in the Korean lettering (which is an upsidedown "L") to spell taekwondo. The reason a "K" is used in English is because the formation of the lettering is actually pronouced "gh-wu-ahn" - which carries a K sound. In Korean its pronouced Tae "Ghwuahn" do. GingerSkate7 - the 'yell' you referred to is a grunt called a 'kiyap' which is used to exert more energy, like many athletes do (tennis, fencing, etc)

  • Not to offend, maybe it's practice, but I think they would benefit from one of those target poles instead of piggybacking, good work though, I've been trying to find a video where you can see the technique behind the kick, it just moves so friggin fast lol

  • His yell is pretty weird

  • its taekwondo. where are you getting the g?

  • k in korean is pronounced as a 'G'

  • yay, random stuff lost in translation.

  • no, G is almost like a K

  • sorry sorry i meant G supposed to sound like a K hehe

  • Comment removed

  • in korean language there is no difference between the g sound and the k sound

    example kyorugi = gyorugi

my guess is the guy who uploaded this is korean and didnt know that we choose to spell it with a k

  • First this is taekwondo and another thing thats not a 540 thats a 720

  • what the fuck is taegwondo?

  • @pingpongfreak888

    in english

    its pronounced Tae Kwon Do

    in korea,the K sounds more like a G

so its pronounced Tae Gwon Do in korea.

maybe the guy who uploaded this was korean?

  • wewt the asians

  • gay, but the kick was awesome

  • boards dont hit back..........lol .

  • ermmmmmm dats a 720 kick but its still cool n 720 much harder 2 do

  • Hahahaha ! Love this tutorial ! Thank you !

  • 540 hook?

  • SSSSsssssweeettt Kick.

    10 stars out of 5

Very good... now i practice and fall a bit.. then try again. Thank you.

  • tae kwan do

  • noob, it's Tae Kwon Do or Taekwondo

  • sry put an a instead of an on lol

  • TKD is pretty cool... but it's a martial art not self defence -.-

  • What does that mean. Martial arts were developed for self defense.

  • yeah from the begining it was... nowadays martial arts is more like a sport. i mean judo for example, great martial art and fun sport, but really useless for selfdefence (Unless your opponent doesn't know how to fight or is drunk...). Shorinji kempo in the other hand is a great selfdefence...

  • are you fuckin crazy JUDO IS ONE OF THE BEST MARTIAL ARTS FOR SELF-DEFENSE

  • @ krimunleashed

get the fuck out of here, are you fucking serious?

  • Yeah .. but that was in the past.

  • it Tae Kwon Do i am a 2nd dan

  • i love to see happy asian people lol

  • it is super cool but i think it is

too much cast time to throw tat kick.. easy to evade..

  • Yeeeah! Amazing skill.

  • what the fuck is a taeGwondo. lmfao!

  • taegwondo is more closer to korean pronounceation.

  • Agree.

But it say taekwondo on the uniform so we accept it as taekwondo.

  • only the sparring became the sports, but the rest is martial art.

  • Nice!

  • by the way, it TaeKwon Do

    no G

  • Yes, I know it's known as TKD, but TGD is more close to its Korean pronunciation...

  • @SweetLilyKim It may be, but even Koreans recognize it as TKD, so let's just keep it that way,

  • @SweetLilyKim i am from korea, and now im in canada, and i am green belt and i do tornado kicks and 540 kicks becose of you thx!

  • @bfmyac lol pwned xD

  • @ImAKillerbee How? And why are you talking to me... Kbyethx LOL

  • not bad :)

  • sweet

  • why its name is 540 kick?

  • 180 degree turn + 360 degree turn...

  • Thanks

  • @waltermercado41

it takes 540 times to practice before you can actually do it!

  • aso G I DON T KNOW

  • hopefully i might be able to go to some university in korea with other team members and train there for two weeks next year in easter.

  • nice technique..and funny!!! taekwon steve 6th degree

  • That was an effing amazing kick!!

  • look like hard to do...

i thing i cant do this kick soon.......

any suggestion to do this kick?

  • You might need lots of training from a good master... my best recommendation is learning TKD in Korea. ^^

  • @SweetLilyKim Very nice. I didn´t go to a Korean Tkd University but I think I'm not doing wrong. You have to consider that no one explain me the way to do it. What do you think about mine? Do you have any advice? Thank you. Mi video: George Sea 540 Tkd Kick

  • Nice kick ^_^ You have to hand it to the Koreans. I got the gist of what you were trying to teach (I guess it helps that I already know the spinning motion from studying other videos and practicing the 360 kicks that lead up to it), but maybe you could try adding subtitles in English to your video (if you can)?

Anyway, nice work keep it up ^_^

  • TaeGwonDo??

    Not TaeKwonDo??

  • TaeGwonDo is more closer pronunciation to its original Korean name.... :)

  • hey guys this isnt a tornado O.o

  • Hmmm. I thought tornado is the most suitable word in English, so I used it. Its original name could be translated maybe like this "540 degree rotation back turning kick"

    What do you think?

  • yes 540 degree rotation back turning kick is right^^ the tornado kick is an 360° or 540° front turning kick..on youtube you can find a lot of it ;-) when you type in "Tornado kick"

  • its technically a "cheat 720 hook kick" =)
