Just to settle some of the rumors, this is in fact not a glitch.

The game has been coded to work this way since the initial release of Prophecies almost 6 years ago. The reasoning is that most towns in Prophecies only have one entrance/exit, thus making it impractical to spawn players in the middle of a town when they map into town.

@WeeklyNickGiftFarms I guess you could say we have used the term "glitch" loosely. This "way of going about spawning" could be seen as an easter egg i assume.

@wiskid15 If you only do this once per time you farm, I highly doubt they will ban you. You only need to glitch one time, then you can farm the area, /resign, and keep farming. Of course, too much of anything is bad, but seriously, there are greater things Anet is worried about right now. Thanks for the comment.

@LaingDao It's not the glitch itself which they care about, it's seeing one person constantly zoning time and time again to the same location.  That's apparently what happened to me. I was Raptor farming, and then I got booted with a message saying I was using third party software... which I wasn't.. but the repetitive activity of farming makes a lot of ppl look like bots... I'll never buy another Anet/NCSoft game...
