I seen him race in Indy and Chicago many times. Last year at Indy I was able to spend some time with him thanks to Rob Geiger who used to work for NHRA.

The awesome energy, the genuine damn appreciation that Eric showed for a sport that takes so much to even make it to a car with your name on the window let alone a team that he was and will always be apart of. He knew he was the luckiest man to do what he was doing.

3 years ago in Houston my kids and I met Eric. He signed autographs and took pics with him. As a father, I really appriciated the time he took with them. He instanly became their favorite FC driver. It was just a monent in his life but it is a lasting memory to my children. They looked forward to seeing him every year. He will be greatly missed by 2 of his biggest "little" fans this year and in the future. Rest in peace Eric and prayers to the Medlen and Force racing families.
