great voice, and style.. yung hinahaluan ng tagalog lyrics ang original songs.. sya ang pioneer nyan sa OPM.. nice nice voive, even now.. pero favorite syemnpre yung the way we were.. doon sya sumikat talaga.. akala ko nga noon sya ang original non, not barba streisand... hahahahaha..

First time I heard Rico Puno, I was in Tondo Manila on Tagumpay Street on leave from the Navy. My wife was taking me to Surigao City. I will always remember this guys music and how great it was. Great great memories of my time in Philippines when I was in the Navy. I liked how he sang in english and tagalog, me being a Cano and everything lol........miss you Philippines and will always love the people..........

Salamat ng marami sa yo kabayan, I left Pinas in 1978 and one of my biggest regrets is not bringing with me all my favorite records, thank you ng marami at meron isang tulad mo na mahilig din sa ganitong klaseng musika and bec. of this you're giving us the chance to cherish once again some of the colourful memories when we were so much younger. Hanga talaga ako sa mga collection mo 'dre kasi i've been checking them and all i can say was just a big "WOW!!!!!". I'll just wait for those RJP songs.

@almananquiljr Thanks kabayan, I have a modest record collection. All the songs you mentioned are found in Rico J's 1976 album "The Way We Were", in which this song I posted is also a track. If they haven't been reissued on CD and if they're not found anywhere else I'll post them one by one starting in a few days :)
