I think that if you are doing different like eyeshadow styles; you could do all your foundation and all that and just start recording your eyeshadow applications.
Don't worry I have the same problem. This is the reason why I can't upload mine. Actually, MAC requires you to be able to do a face in 0 minutes or less. It's almost impossible to do a full face (properly) within a tn minute time limit. I can't edit either. I totally understand.

i understand what you're going through!! my video's take forever to load! it takes me almost two hours to load a ten minute clip!! Don't get me wrong i have clearwire internet and i have one of the fastest speed but i think its the format of my videos?? i dunno, but not being able to post videos is one reason y i can't to tutorials like other artists here... but i know how it feels..

I just tried doing something realllly simple in 2 parts and well it was such a process. It took me 2 days to finish and then another one to upload & edit. And that was only for something that took rought 15minutes. I couldn't possible do something like that for my reg. looks which take me over an hour most of the time. I'd be doing it ALL day long. Its just not going to work out, I think.

yea, you're right. I don't know how to and when I try something super simple, it tells me I cant save..some kind of error. It's sad that I have to constantly defend myself. I don't understand why ppl seem to get personally offended by what I do or DON'T do.
Your videos is the best eyeshadow application videos are easy to learn from and inspirational. It is very difficult to record yourself applying makeup. I've been trying to do vids for my site, so I know. A better idea would be to have video on your site on a monthly basis and charge a small fee to download the video.If you already have 1300 people on your list if even a small percentage of those pay to watch--that's still good revenue for you.
I dont even own or, never have had, the photoshop program or ANYTHING like it..for editing and all that. even if I did, I'd have no idea how to you use. The most hi-tech thing I got is Paint!! which I used to resize & rotate my pictures..that's it!

can you pick a day that is convenient for you and maybe broadcast your tutorial live? maybe its just me but when i blend colors together it ends up looking like a mess, it would be so helpful if we can actually see exactly how you blend the colors, just my opinion. i'd definitely tune in to watch, just an idea. :).

Try doing it in two or more parts. Your picture tuts are great, but there's no way to see the method in which you apply the makeup and how you blend (since you are indeed the queen of blending! haha.) good luck girl!
if you get an error message you don't understan copy and paste the message into the google search bar, you should get directions to fix the problem from various sources.

If you need to learn how to blend just sit in the mirror and blend your makeup. There is no secret technique. It just depends on how LONG you want to sit there and blend. Lauren said she doesn't do her makeup in five minutes...That should be the hint people. I personally like the way ther videos are done. Quick, easy, inspirational
Uh, yeah we get it. I just think that everybody's just really eager to see HER blend HER shadow, I don't think anyone's really trying to be inconsiderate or anything. I blend and blend and blend and I think I've got it now. Me personally, I think I'm ready to start pic tutorials myself!
there you go, it really is just going and going and going (blending) until its how you want it. that's what I do, I sit there and try to blend the crap out of whatever colors until it's "perfect" in my eyes. It's up to you how blended things come out! That and the ability to spot out what's not totally blended
more practice! You're great and thanks for the vids you CAN give us. But if at ALL you decide that you wanna even show us 30 secs of you blending (bcuz it looks so mastery) feel free. Like while you're talking in a vid. I don't think it'd be a problem for you not to complete an entire look. I think people just wanna see the master at work but either way, thanks very much!
Is your Sonia Kashuk brush similar to that?? I have NYX, MAC, and other little brushes, but nothing brings me closer to your grade of blending more than that one. It's perfect and just last night, I did your coral pink and brown with violet look, and a tried a purple/teal look and for a second, i could have sworn I went to a "Queen of Blending" beginner's training class!!! I was so excited. I believe you when you say there are no secrets. There really isn't. It just takes practice practice and
I think the only reason people may complain are just really eager to see you blend live in action and their expression of that just comes out wrong!!
Either way, i love the fact that you even want to share anything as talented as you are. Some people would keep the skills you have to themselves. Question, I have been blending and blending, and I think i finally have it like I want and it'll get better with practice. But I find the best brush for me is Essence of Beauty concealer brushes.

One way to do it is by making your whole video into parts. Many females do that. Do the whole look in sections. Make each section into a few mins.

i love your picture tutorials and totally appreciate them. it doesn't matter so much to me whether you do live tuts or not. just a suggestion, maybe you could do like a really quick blending tutorial for all the people who are complaining about that and just blend like two colors together or something.. i dunno. just a thought. it doesn't matter to me, i love your videos the same either way LOL. btw, the colors you're wearing in this video are AMAZING!

yea, you're right. I don't know how to and when I try something super simple, it tells me I cant save..some kind of error. It's sad that I have to constantly defend myself. I don't understand why ppl seem to get personally offended by what I do or DON'T do.

Your videos is the best eyeshadow application videos are easy to learn from and inspirational. It is very difficult to record yourself applying makeup. I've been trying to do vids for my site, so I know. A better idea would be to have video on your site on a monthly basis and charge a small fee to download the video.If you already have 1300 people on your list if even a small percentage of those pay to watch--that's still good revenue for you.

I dont even own or, never have had, the photoshop program or ANYTHING like it..for editing and all that. even if I did, I'd have no idea how to you use. The most hi-tech thing I got is Paint!! which I used to resize & rotate my pictures..that's it!

can you pick a day that is convenient for you and maybe broadcast your tutorial live? maybe its just me but when i blend colors together it ends up looking like a mess, it would be so helpful if we can actually see exactly how you blend the colors, just my opinion. i'd definitely tune in to watch, just an idea. :).

Lauren you don't have to explain yourself to anyone about the "video" situation. You should be able to do YOUR videos the way you want. I personally love your Picture Tutorials. all i know is that it's going to take time and practice, and i'm ok with that

I don't think you should feel bad about not being able to do a video tutorial because the picture one are clear enough and I like the music in the background lol! You always choose great songs...but hey, do your thing! And congrats on the new website. I'm definitely going to subscribe to it :)

Try doing it in two or more parts. Your picture tuts are great, but there's no way to see the method in which you apply the makeup and how you blend (since you are indeed the queen of blending! haha.) good luck girl!

if you get an error message you don't understan copy and paste the message into the google search bar, you should get directions to fix the problem from various sources.

If you need to learn how to blend just sit in the mirror and blend your makeup. There is no secret technique. It just depends on how LONG you want to sit there and blend. Lauren said she doesn't do her makeup in five minutes...That should be the hint people. I personally like the way ther videos are done. Quick, easy, inspirational

there you go, it really is just going and going and going (blending) until its how you want it. that's what I do, I sit there and try to blend the crap out of whatever colors until it's "perfect" in my eyes. It's up to you how blended things come out! That and the ability to spot out what's not totally blended

more practice! You're great and thanks for the vids you CAN give us. But if at ALL you decide that you wanna even show us 30 secs of you blending (bcuz it looks so mastery) feel free. Like while you're talking in a vid. I don't think it'd be a problem for you not to complete an entire look. I think people just wanna see the master at work but either way, thanks very much!

Is your Sonia Kashuk brush similar to that?? I have NYX, MAC, and other little brushes, but nothing brings me closer to your grade of blending more than that one. It's perfect and just last night, I did your coral pink and brown with violet look, and a tried a purple/teal look and for a second, i could have sworn I went to a "Queen of Blending" beginner's training class!!! I was so excited. I believe you when you say there are no secrets. There really isn't. It just takes practice practice and

I think the only reason people may complain are just really eager to see you blend live in action and their expression of that just comes out wrong!!
Either way, i love the fact that you even want to share anything as talented as you are. Some people would keep the skills you have to themselves. Question, I have been blending and blending, and I think i finally have it like I want and it'll get better with practice. But I find the best brush for me is Essence of Beauty concealer brushes.

1.)It's impossible to do what you do in 10 min. AGREED! 2.)I've done Makeup tutorials on here and it IS SUCH A PROCESS to edit, upload and blah blah... I just quit doing them altogether so I dont blame you one bit for not even bothering. 3.) I prefer just watching pics rather than listening to someone ramble on about nothing. I love watching the Tuts but some of these Gurus are annoying and just Shouldnt talk AT ALL! SO, having said that... Keep on keeping on! Thanks so much for the vids!

When I have a tutorial that is longer than 10 minutes I just make parts:)
You could do that too:D Part 1, part 2 and so on:)
