The IRS doesn't discriminate against legal status. They would still take your money even if you can't get any benefits when you retire. Why do they do this? Those that have done no wrong, intergrated into this culture, etc. go about becoming American citizens the right and legal way. The Dream Act is a bunch of crap and just another, more fancy way of saying amnesty for all ILLEGAL immigrants. I trust it as far as I can throw it!

Not in a perfect world in a rational world. God even in a cynical world this ;legislation would make a lot of sense. These kids have grown here as Americans. They have grown and respected to what they viewed as their "motherland", however what most are not aware of, those same laws prohibit them for obtaining their legal status the "legal way" since they are slapped with a 10 year bar or BANNED frm the US if they ever decide to leave and this all because of something they had no say in.

Uu work hard, respect n abide d law, have d courage n dedication 2 join 2 military, mastering skills in school n shaping yurself 2 b more dan just a minimum wage worker, bt u r denied entry into progress because of the sins of your parents? They are in a world ruts with you way out, not even back. The requirements of dream is difficult enough so only ones that are beneficial to the country are eligible, dont view it as a threat, and they r nurtured as AMERICANS.

A lot of them can probably pass the citizenship test in one take. This is not your typical illegal alien. These kids are going to be viewed as Americans wherever they may go but just not on paper where it really matters. So please give these kids a chance.

If you are here on a vacation visa you are here legally. If you are here on a work or educational visa you are here legally. If you over stay your visa or enter without the permission of the U.S. Govt. then you are here illegally. Oh, by the way my father and mother would talk to us about where we might go when we went and could afford to go on vacation.

Democracy and freedom of information isn't exactly practiced in most cultures like yours isn't it? These kid are VICTIMS. A victim of fraud. Since when does a victim deserve to be prosecuted?

Wat i meant was, a family, in most cultures, children r looked down upon as a lower class so dey r nt included in d decision making. It could b where dey move, hw much money is spent on certain things n even marriage. Why punish someone 4 something dat dey r nt aware of such as overstaying de visa. Its not their fault. Some of these kids by the time they get here in a very young age, may not even know what the hell a visa is. They just know 1 thing n dats to follow mom n dad.

obama also stated that dream act beneficiaries, growing up here, learning the language,culture and ideals are "Americans for all intents and purposes". Being a native born citizen and having a US birth certificate doesn't necessarily make you more American, than the illegal alien who grew up here since infancy or the illegal alien who is fighting/fought or died in Iraq.

I look at it this way, "DREAMERS" are like illegitimate children of the US. They deserve some sort of consideration or mercy.
