Does anyone know if this applies to electronic music production. I mean, tracks which are ment to have big booming sub-bass lines, using this technique, would it destroy that speaker shaking effect?
@SoundGauge the trick with sub bass, is less is more.. a decent sub will pick up the B-line, too much volume will interfere wit other things. I would advise you to learn about side-chaining ducking to the kick drum. They share some of the same frequencies, by using that technique you give them space and they adjust dynamically. The lowest I've heard a tune go down to is 17hz.. which is charley DnB mix by prodigy, in the middle 8 .. BUT that is the only sound playing .
Nice tutorials, however I would prefer them without the incessant music in the background for the whole 20 minutes. Just small clips when required would be less fatiguing on the ears.
@bjokkor exactly what i said!! you feel like everytime you look back feelin like u know enough, you only learn that you havent touched the surface .. i guess noone ever feels complete .. you just learn as much as possible
very clear, good structure, lots of information people need to know ;) i love how each of these gives me another insight in the plugins. looking foreward to part 2
@joskav The intro shows a CD layout in Wavelab, which I use to create DDP disc images for replication. But I use Reaper for the processing as I know it better, and I like the routing and automation options.
Help ,can this plug in work on cubase 5??

@SoundGauge yes it is, that bass is always in the middle as to not muddy up the track as a whole ;)

@cosine303 It is extremely unlikely that you heard a sub bass at 17Hz.

Great tutorial, I usually just grab a preset but I'm definitely gonna try to mess with these effects a bit more.
