I don't have Wii Internet connection, and it's not worth getting it now since Nintendo is gonna launch its next console next year. I think F-Zero world records are a lot more entertaining than world records in standard racing games. It's way more technical and there's more a focus on going faster than making the shortest possible way around the track.

Makes for new routes and new shortcut possibilities much more often than Mario Kart or something... XD

Jeg brukte Black Bull på Big Blue: Ordeal, men det var ikke så lett å ta snarveiene der med den, men gikk greit å snake, bortsett fra at jeg har litt problemer med å snake i smale områder. Da kræsjer jeg mye og taper mye tid. :( Men jeg klarte snarveien bak bygningen med min Jewel Condor-V2. Jeg har ikke Combat Cannon cockpiten. Hvor fikk du tak i den? Jeg tok aldri GX så seriøst da jeg rundet det.

Det er lenge siden jeg fikk den. Jeg tror du må klare story mission 7 på hard. Men Jewel Condor er nesten like bra som Tornado Condor-V2. Hvis det er for vanskelig kan du bruke Jewel Condor-V2.

Snake i smale områder er ikke så lett når du har en fart på 2000km/t. ;D

It's quite obvious that the game developers left the ability to players to snake intentionally there, as they could've easily just capped the amount of velocity that can be gained via those powerful turns even though I bet originally that boost is just supposed to keep the players on track and keep the players more in-control of this high-speed game.

I personally don't like Snaking in MKDS but that is mainly as I never bothered to learn it. I see others enjoying their little snake battles though.

Agreed. And "skipping half the track" isn't even snaking. It is plain being smart and making shortcuts. It is all in the engine, no gamesharks or emulators. The developers could have walls or death if it was an issue.

Exploits can often make a game. If everyone simply ignored wide windows of legal opportunity, the game would almost be at risk of becoming stale. In this case, they improve it.

I will just take a guess and assume no comps make a few of those moves. No snaking. :P

Like I said, I never bothered to learn to how to snake in MKDS...

All I was saying was that "I don't snake in MKDS", "It's just an advanced technique which helps in speedruns" and "It looks AWESOME!"...

Never said that the effort between the two (GX Snaking and MKDS Snaking) was comparable or that this video isn't impressive.

lol, i don't think so, i just started too, and just gained some good result on MC1, in other courses i'm crap for now. it's strange how X is soooo different from track to track, i mean how different your approach has to be to do well. in GX you know your moves, and do them "whenever you want" (it's experts' job choose when to MT (or whatever) and when not tough, i don't mean that GX is easy), and if you do well in a track then you're overall good. but maybe it's only me that i'm still noob at X.
