Ed Davis: Huge Back to Back Blocks v. Miami

From a UNC fan, I seriously am not a fan of Ed Davis. It was inexcusable to have him basically quit on his team after a bad year. He wasn't ready for the pros. 20-6 is good, but imagine if we had him, Graves, and the Wear twins. Our froncourt would be unstoppable! Our depth would be insane!

He does have great feel for the game and can time shots very good. But the best part I love about it is that if you watch most of his blocks he tries to keep them in bounds. Thats what I like cuz I listened to an interview he had, and someone asked him about that and he said if I block the ball out and it goes of bounds its just a waste of time because they get possesion of the ball if I block it inbounds we got a chance to get the ball I thought that was really good and very smart

Davis has great feel. He times blocks amazingly and he has a great touch around the rim on offense. He will be an asset next year for the heels.

the Nets are likely next years worst team and if they are lucky they can fill a need at that # 1 spot and take Derrick Favors or an Ed Davis

The Rockets are going to give them a run for their money for the worst team. Yao possibly done for his career, TMac is going to miss a lot of time at the beginning, and now Artest has signed with the Lakers. Our top 3 has now disappeared.

It's only 6 games into the season but I have been pleasantly surprised at how well the Rockets have done so far. Granted 2 of their wins have been over OKC and a really struggling Jazz team that even lost to the Kings.

davis is a mid first round draft pick you can probably see available around 7 - 13 in the draft if the nets truly did win the lottery they'll draft john wall.

heels will be fine next year with the leadership of marcus and deon. guys like ed, zeller, drew II, graves and the new guys coming in will put us in the top 10 for much of the year. no reason to think this will be a rebuilding year.

I am a Kentucky fan and Ed Davis is one of the best freshman defensive player I have ever seen. I hope he'd hurry up and go pro like after next year so he won't be blocking Kentucky's shots. Ha. But it will be fun to see him next year, especially if he adds a few pounds of muscle.

he won't hurry up and go pro because he is not a thiug and his dad is a former veteran of the \nba. he will tell his on to stick around to develop his game because he has the time and money. i like and havea lot of respect for the wildcats but i have to say that we don't go after thugs. davis has one to 3 more seasons to flourish before he goes to the pros because there is no need to cash in on an NBA contract. get used to him, because he will be one of the top big men for a few more seasons!!

Ed Davis is going to be better next year a lot better. I believe he is better than Brandan Wright. This guy is going to be the go to guy for the inside along with Zeller and Henson. GO TAR HEELS!!!!
