He is an amazing musician and instrumentalist. His musicianship and advanced romantic-impresionist language in jazz has created a strong influence over various painists as well as myself. I am sorry ECM did not created more works with his band, Stockhausen and Marcus Studer were a great ensemble. His brilliantly playing with Eberhard Weber, whom as well is an amazing musician. I am left with wanting to hear more of his creative images in sounds.
Que maquina, me encanta este pianista, los discos que ha realizado con weber son de lo mejor que he escuchado, ojalá algún dia pueda verlo en directo....
I've been listening Brüninghaus are no words too ... it's really a shame that it has not properly acknowledged his talent, that is why I have put here this unique exhibition
I heard Eberhard Weber's group Colurs and their album Yellow Fields back in the 70s (saw them live -I'm that old) and was captivated by Bruninghaus's understated quality (not to mention Charlie Mariano and Weber himself)
already ... He is a wonderful creator of sounds

You are right, ombralunga5; Bruninghaus is one of the most gifted pianists I ever heard.

A great pianist, a big influence on the way I can both hear Classical and Jazz within the same breadth.
