there's something about that piece of music that makes me feel weird and a bit emotional, i always thought it had a lot to do with the sounds on the record because they're so big! but this proves that the music stands on its own. well done man!
I never laughed so hard as when I heard "Punch IT!" and then you start at the very beginning on the slow part. You're now my favorite person for the next 10 minutes or so. Bravo! Great sound coming out of that little CZ too!
@kaluwaku666 I have one of these, bought from new in 1985. Most of the pro bands in the mid 80's used them but a lot of them covered up the 'Casio' name cos they were embarrassed. They shouldn't have been as this was one of the greatest keyboards of its time, and still sounds great. Nice demo too by the way :-)
Casio instruments were fantastic in the 80's. The CZ-1, CZ-1000, CZ-101, CZ-3000, CZ-5000, FZ-1, VZ-1, AZ-1, RZ-1.... HT-6000. It's very sad that they had to back away from pro market by the end of the 80's. I used to have the HT-6000 and then the VZ-1. The VZ-1 was fully feautured pro synthsesizer with aftertouch keyboard, three wheels, and all. It was I think more powerful than the the DX7II. I regret it now that I sold it just because it was a Casio. Stuipd me. Thanks for posting!
@dvamateur the Casio CZ's or VZ's are nice keyboards, but they could never sound as clear, complex, and punchy like a Yamaha DX7. Please compare E-pianos, basses and FX. There are big differences in sound quality.
Awesome! By the way, you're not the only one that needs to lose a belly! Well, you probably lost yours by now. Anyway, this was a nice rendition!
