ive been through four jars of cantu so far :-[ so this is what I did to stop ugly build up pour half of Cantu into five jars and mix the other half with water a little olive oil and aloe Vera Fantasia ic leave in moisturizer just a few dros then I shake everything up and I uwese jars accordingly I'm stretching my dive dollars until next few years

I did it on dry hair but also I used the Cantu. I rolled the twists as i went along instead of twisting the whole head then rolling. Your hair turned out beautiful!

LOVE Cantu! I agree, a lot gums up my hair, but it is the best. I'm only doing the "b'day suit" shower twists in the summer/fall, as NJ winters have 30 degree and below days and nights!

I love this style so thanks for posting. I have been rocking this twist & curl for the last 2 weeks. I love using the Cantu leave-in conditioner because my hair is super soft the next day. My hair comes out super curly & soft. Everyone loves it. I have even figured out how to keep the style for a week at a time. Its been trial & error! LOL I just re-curl my hair every night using the rollers. Don't re-twist because I jacked up the curl pattern & I lost my bouncy curls. But I got it now!

Have you tried shampoos and conditioners that have collegan in them. Also try to cut back on heat use. Those two things really thickend up my hair....

Hmm, I'm not exactly sure if a relaxer would improve the appearance in thickness to your hair. DracoBabe88 seems like she's onto something, so maybe you could try that. I've also heard that doing henna treatments on the hair adds the illusion of thickness to your hair. CurlyNikki does them for this reason and she's definitely seen a big difference.

I understand your concern, but it does get bigger as the day progresses, so you'll regain some of the length you lost. You should go ahead and try it out now. If it doesn't turn out how you wanted, well, at least you'd know.

I have 1 question: How do you sleep on your TnC? I find it difficult to pineapple my hair at night when I'm wearing the TnC, and my hair straightens even if I try to sleep with it out and over my satin pillow at night. Any suggestions?

cantu work really good! I use it on my hair and it's natural also. And it does build up alot and it doesn't work well with other products that arent on the cantu line :).
