  • @xMETALLICAROCKERx O scale

  • sorry to bother you again, but I have one more question. My train is about 10 inches long, 2 1/2 in. wide, and 3 1/2 tall. is this O scale or HO? Thanks.

  • what is the difference between O scale and ho?

  • O scale is 1:48 scale (1 real inch represents 48 scale inches) and HO is roughly half the size of O scale at 1:87 scale (1 inch represents 87 inches inches). So, something 48 inches long is real life would be 1 inch long in O Scale and something 87 inches long in real life would be 1 inch long in HO scale. Make sense?

  • yes thank you very much

  • is that how fast it goes?

  • Are you asking if that's the top speed of the engine? No, it can go much faster.

  • these little engines would be great if they had better horns

  • @Railfan108 You can download sound sets from MTH to load into the engine- that would change the horn sounds... many to choose from .

  • how long is it sorry about the questions i just think it's cool tty for writing back

  • About 15 inches or so.

  • did you get this in a set and how much $

  • No, I bought the engine by itself. It cost about $390.00

  • r the black engions non powered?

  • We have these in SOO Line. Powered and unpowered.

  • i have this engine

  • Cool!! I'm getting a New York Central MTH train just like yours in a couple of months!!!

  • Nice !
