Deutsche has such a pretty national anthem. I'm having to learn it in German class, and honestly this language is so beautiful and so is this score. I'd love to live their one day, if I'm ever fluent enough in German of course hahaha. :) But things like this should be celebrated because of their beauty. Things happened in the past. Get over it. The German's are wonderful people. We've had tons of exchange students and they were all very kind. Go Germany! :D

Germany is the land of Western Philosophy after Greece. I guess that's why their language is so difficult! Well, at least in grammar...I'm learning due to scholarly and proffesional reasons, but honestly I don't find it a beautiful language at all! Russian is more appealing to my ears.

@samanthaeb007 As you learn German, do not neglect your English. You may find that one will help the other. Too many of my fellow Americans are completely neglecting the study of correct English. (I refer of course to American Standard English.)

@JonasAnonym Really... WW2 started way before that. The UK didn't intervene until Nazi Germany invaded their ally, France. Hitler started WW2 by invading Poland and breaking the Treaty of Versailles. I just took world history, I know this shit, you can't win this one.

But what Germany did that broke the Treaty of Versailles was they didn't give up stolen territory from WW1, didn't pay war reparations, and was supposed to make their military smaller but instead made a larger one and began trying to take over Europe again.

I don't have to - others gives me a kind of that feeling. I'm living abroad, everyone approaches me and ask lots about my country - i like it ... :-)
