He sold it in 1974 to buy a boat for $400. shortly after I think my mom realized he was stupid and divorced him. I worked for Porsche for a short time and really had fun. I owned a two 1989', a 944s2 and a turbo. Both were a blast to own.

A car that was raced against the similiar ferraris and cars like this one the 904-917 series all look basically the same ...Ferrari, lotus etc. have all ratained the rear engine layout, and therefore some body shapes will always be similiar, but the gt40 had a v8 and it was larger like the ferraris and jaguars later

It is a great looking and sounding GREAT but it is nothing compared to even you mid ranged sport cars of today it performance is weak. 0 - 60 mph 6.4 seconds, 155 hp. Great for the time but now a can be out done by a Civic SI.
