theyre sound totally improved around this time.  the early distortion sounded realy bad and there whas a huge difference in volume between hide and patas guitar. sometimes you couldnt even hear a second/background voice.

These guys were no joke, and this shows they pulled it off like nobody's business live. They were good players and writers, and pulled it off live to boot--the way Toshi is spinning around and singing at the same time at the 4:10 mark is impressive since he doesn't lose his pitch or stutter too much. Most American bands wouldn't be caught dead looking like this, too! I only just discovered these guys, but am trying to hip as many folks as possible to them.

I actually like Nightmare... the songs I have heard them done. if not for X I would never have gotten into such kind of music, though. Even 20 years later, the music X made still moves me. It's that good. :)
