They didn't get along at first. The cat in the video was angry at us and at the new cat for a very long time. It took a while but they get along now.  They still play/fight every now and then.

Absolutely not! As the description says, the cat knows there is a new cat in the house. He's used to being alpha-cat, so he wasn't too happy about it at first. But it has been 2 years, and they are friends now. :)

Yes they did end up getting along (for the most part). They still chase each other all over and get into a spat evey now and then... Wish I had some advice for you, but some cats just never get along I guess. We always joke about needing a "Cat Whisperer" show!!

We'd had this cat for several years at this time. We did research it, and found the best companion was another Siamese. We were able to adopt one from a shelter. After a period of adjustment, they get along great!!

I have a gray/white tabby girl kitten and I am watching my friend's girl Siamese kitten and her cat is 6 months, mine is only 3 and for 2 days they hated each other and wanted each other dead haha but they never attacked each other, just made sounds. And now they are the best of friends! It's not true that Siamese only like their kind. My friend's siamese mothers my kitty haha

It's been a little over a year, and they get along okay. They play, they fight, they play-fight. But we also catch them sleeping, curled up together. Overall I'd say it was good to get this guy a friend. :)

Yup it's a gradual thing. My two got to the acceptance stage, but still did these weird noises at each other where one would go low and close the other and then they would back off (I have a vid uploaded on here of it called odd noises) but now they cuddle up. It's taken 12 months for them to get the the spooning stage!
